**Lakes Catherine and Hamilton are drawn down between November and March each year. The depth of the draw-down varies from year to year. Some shallow areas may be 'dry' during certain periods of this 4 month span.

This comfortable and thoughtfully furnished cabin offers everything you need for a restful lakeside stay. The bright, open living area features a fully equipped kitchen with modern green cabinetry, perfect for preparing meals after a day outdoors. Unwind with our collection of books and games, and puzzles, or enjoy a movie night with an extensive collection of DVDs.

Step outside to the spacious deck or lower patio where you can savor your morning coffee, grill a delicious dinner on the BBQ, or simply soak in the calm cove views. As evening falls, gather around the fire pit for stories under the stars and s'mores. For your convenience, the cabin includes a washer/dryer and fast, reliable Wi-Fi.

Where You’ll Sleep:

Downstairs Master Bedroom: A comfortable King bed with plush linens and a dedicated workspace for when you need to connect.
Upstairs Loft: Features a Queen bed and cozy, built-in sleep nooks—perfect for younger travelers.
We are family-friendly! The upstairs loft contains a variety of books and toys to keep little ones entertained.

Guest Access
You will have private access to the entire house, the spacious deck and yard, and the private dock on the lake.

The Neighborhood
The cabin is located in a quiet, no-wake cove, ensuring peaceful days by the water. A private neighborhood boat ramp is conveniently located just down the street, making it easy to launch your own boat.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Cabin on the cove. The house was extremely clean and obviously loved by the owner. Apparently the downstairs bedroom is all new and the kitchen has been remodeled. That is evident as everything feels fresh. We enjoyed cooking dinner and hanging out at the large island- the open layout makes hanging out and preparing dinner a fun event. We will definitely book here again. The fire pit is also very well built.

Cute River Access Cabin

Very cute cabin! Beautiful deck and cute River access point. The dock area however was a little nasty so we walked half a block to the dock and chose to swim there instead. We did think the neighborhood was a little bit more secluded based off the pictures. The neighbors were a little close. We didn't really mind it, but we were looking for a little bit of better Lake access/ river access and a little bit more seclusion but the cabin itself was amazing. Had everything you needed and more.

This poperty is nestled in a quite neighborhood in a cove. We saw several fishing on and around the pier, looked like they were catching bass.

Great Stay just Noisy Neighbors on the Weekend

Everything was amazing and the pictures definitely does not does this place any justice. Neighbors were a little noisy on Friday and Saturday night but it didnt last beyond 11:00pm. We would definitely stay here again.

Our stay was amazing. This cabin is charming and inviting. We hit some snags (power outage then my husband getting a stomach bug) and the host was so sweet and understanding. We will definitely be back and recommend this cabin to any friends visiting the area.

We had an issue with our stay (unrelated to the home or the host), and the host graciously helped us figure it out. We are truly greatful for her kindness and would certainly consider and recommend one of her two beautiful properties (just book through a non-vrbo option).

Cozy gathering space

The property suited us perfectly. My wife and I were traveling with 3 small kids so the two beds, 1 bath was more than adequate. We really thought the upstairs bedroom was ideal. There’s one full or queen ned with two twins on either side that was perfect for our kids. Booking, arrival and departure couldn’t be easier. Newer TV allowed us to ApplePlay some shows for the kids while we prepared dinner. Overall the house was very clean with only a few minor updates needed. The value was great! Of minor note, I wish the fire pit area was better structured. The fire pit itself was a shallow ring of rocks so I was afraid a spark or errant flame might catch the surrounding leaves on fire. I also had to clean all the fallen leaves and wet, burnt remains out of the pit. There was wood supplied which was great but it was also wet so hard to start a fire. Also the back could only be accessed by going around the house as there was no access to the outdoor space from inside. These are minor however, and our stay was perfect!

Good stay

Cabin is located in a fairly quiet neighborhood and has a number of other houses very close by. Just typical neighborhood noise so not a big deal. I think everyone was just glad that fall in AR had finally arrived, and they were getting things done outside and enjoying the weather, as we also did while enjoying the deck! Cabin was pretty clean and has everything needed. We never left and cooked all meals there. The bed is comfortable with good quality linens, but it is not a queen size - it is a double/full size (measured it), so it's small for two people. There's plenty of closet space in the bedroom as well. The TV is internet based, so it takes getting used to if you're not already. I'm farily tech savvy, so I figured it out. The internet kept going out on day 1 (not owner's fault - that's just internet for you), but fortunately was working on day 2, so we were able to watch a lot of football all day on a very nice quality screen in the living room. We really appreciated the large bathroom with quality fixtures and lighting, along with super fluffy towels. Only suggestions would be to place a queen sized bed in the main bedroom and add either a dish drying rack or mat in the kitchen for use after washing dishes.

Cozy cabin getaway

Really cute and comfy cabin. Nice decor. Small but quaint and perfect for 2 but could have easily brought along our kids. We took many walks around the little neighborhood that was very quiet and peaceful. We will have to come back when the weather is warm.

Property in quiet neighborhood, not isolated as expected. Kitchen very well stocked with staples, condiments, bowls, pots and pans. Fifteen minute access to Hot Springs. Recommend Lake Degray for nice beach swimming, and Charlton Recreation Area for cold creek swimming. Gangster Museum was an interesting background story of Hot Springs! Relaxing vacation.
