NOTE: Lake level is lowered early Nov and back to normal early March around Lake Hamilton. Allows maintenance on boatslips, docks, etc. NO fishing from deck or bank during this time when lake is lowered

There is still a beautiful view of lake further away from shore line.

Beautiful cottage on Lake Hamilton - located in the popular Hwy 7/Central Ave south area, in the hub of fun things to do.

Open concept floor plan. STUDIO STYLE which means No walls dividing living, dining, kitchen and sleeping area. The bathroom is the only private room.

You will need to rent a 2 bdrm if you are wanting privacy.

There are 3 other cottages on the grounds. If you are wanting complete isolation this cottage will not work for you. You might see other people during your visit from the other 3 cottages on the common grounds or see lawn workers.

If you need a BIG shower this will not work for you. The shower is SMALL. This is a standard size shower frame from the manufacture. Please rent another unit if you need a big shower.

The unique feature of this property is having the large deck extending over the lake with a private boat-slip for this cottage located underneath the deck.

Arkansas law requires marinas, boat-slips to post an Electrical Shock Warning, Swim at own risk sign on the boat-slip. There is a private boat-slip under cottage deck for guest use.

Boat rentals only 2 minutes away Hot Springs Marina -
There is a fee to launch a boat. approx $25
No parking boat trailers there.

You can park trailer beside the cottage.


Many indoor/outdoor activities in this location. Many fine dining restaurants your whole family will enjoy.

Magic Springs amusement park, go-carts, miniature golf, Hot Springs mall. Oaklawn race track and Casino located a few minutes from cottage,
Garvan Woodland Gardens are beautiful year round...

After visiting the race track treat yourself at one of the many spas Hot Springs has to offer.

During the summer fish off the deck or enjoy the day on the lake. Fishing license can be purchased at Wal-Mart

4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day spectacular fireworks display launched nearby

Enjoy watching the Canadian geese and mallards make their daily rounds around Lake Hamilton

A beautiful quaint little cottage, well appointed, and right on the water at Lake Hamilton! Very close (within 5 minutes) of everything you could want to do in Hot Springs! And our pups were welcomed. What else could you ask for??

We enjoyed the cottage. Nice to be so close to shopping and restaurants. Great covered boat parking. Nice shade on the deck up until mid morning and then again after 6:30 or so. I’ve view of the lake. Kitchen had everything we needed. Shower is a bit small. I was able to park our 22’ tritoon party barge on its trailer beside the cottage, but it’s a bit tight as limbs and bushes are encroaching on the driveway.

NIRVANA!

Cannot say enough about how completely relaxing this cottage is! Every possible amenity is provided, the view from the deck is beautiful, landscaping is charming, it is always immaculate, and it so quiet, yet close to everything we like (by boat or car)...Back Porch Grill, Fisherman's Wharf, boat launch, marina (for repair or gas), and Garvin's Gardens. We try to come here at least once every year, and somehow it just keeps being better! Thank you Marie for providing NIRVANA II for us.

June Vacation for Family

The cottage was nice and clean and stocked with so many items needed for a lengthy vacation, such as cleaning supplies and kitchen supplies. Nice view of the lake and very close to shopping and restaurants.

All was above our expectations! The only thing that I wished was different was we were in a cove on the lake and it collected debris and was not good for swimming… for me. I saw kids having fun in the water though.

Cozy Cottage Getaway

The owner did an excellent job of describing property. It was just what we expected and perfect for our getaway. There were lots of extras provided in case we forgot anything. Would for sure stay here again if ever back in Hot Springs.

Short stay in Cute Cottage on Lake Hamilton

The property was clean and well appointed-photos and descriptions were accurate. Communication with the host was easy. We had a short stay on a stormy night but were able to enjoy dinner on the deck before the rains. The cottage was cute and comfortable.

Let me tell you about this amazing little cottage!! (two stories in the review)The cottage is beautiful in every detail explained. Upon first entry you’re met with the aroma of how clean the property is. The kitchen is fully stocked, ice maker in the refrigerator, fresh towels, and plenty of “oops I forgot to bring” items. Once inside your eyes meet the spacious deck that shows an amazing view of Lake Hamilton. This is an amazing spot for a small family or couples just wanting to get away. Will definitely be back to this beautiful property. Now on to a personal note. So, secretly I’ve been planning to propose to my girlfriend for sometime. However, with the usual work life, family, and scheduled events, that perfect moment was never just there. As most men, I wanted the most rememberable moment for my girlfriend. Completely lost in ideas, and I haven’t been to Hot Springs since I was a child, I nervously, and completely out of context, decided to reach out to my host, Marie for ideas. I did not know what to expect at all, I mean who does that?!? Asking a random person online I’ve never met about ideas for a proposal?!?! Well let me tell you about Marie!!! Marie not only reached back out to me, but was able to provide memorable places and restaurants for my girlfriend’s perfect moment. AND WAS IT PERFECT!!! Marie is hands down the BEST host we’ve ever had the pleasure of renting from and will forever be apart of our lives!!! Thank you so much Marie!!! Matt & Miriam

Enchanting Cottage at Lake Hamilton

The cottage was lovely! The azaleas and dogwoods were in full bloom. Just as cute and clean as the pictures. Lake Hamilton is a gorgeous area. Even though weather wasn't perfect, there was plenty to do: shopping, Gangster Museum, eating, and my favorite - sitting in peace and quiet and looking out at Lake Hamilton! Will definitely go back.

I have been a fan of VRBO FOR MANY YEARS AND HAVE STAYED IN QUITE A FEW WONDERFUL PLACES, BUT THIS ONE WAS ABSOLUTELY THE BEST. AS IT TURNS OUT, IT WAS ESPECIALLY GOOD THAT THE LITTLE COTTAGE WAS SO DELIGHTFUL, BECAUSE THE WEATHER WAS ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS AND BEING IN SUCH A COMFORTABLE SITUATION, MADE THE WEATHER VERY TOLERABLE. HAD THE WEATHER BEEN BETTER, I WOULD HAVE COMPLETELY ENJOYED THE BEAUTIFUL DECK THAT LOOKS OUT ON LAKE HAMILTON. Asparagus EVERYTHING WAS SO COMFORTABLE AND CONVENIENT AND THE LANDSCAPING AROUND THE COTTAGE WAS SPECTACULAR. THE HOSTESS AND HER HUSBAND WERE BETTER THAN WORDS CAN EXPRESS. THEY WERE SO THOUGHTFUL. ALTHOUGH MY SON AND I STAYED THERE THIS TIME, THIS IS A PLACE I WOULD LIKE TO COME BACK TO WITH TWO OR THREE OF MY FRIENDS FOR A FUN WEEKEND IN HOT SPRINGS.

Relaxing Quiet Getaway

We really enjoyed each morning coffee on the deck, overlooking the water and each evening, relaxing to the sound of the waves as we drank our hot tea. Everything we needed was provided in such a pleasant, efficient bungalow. We hope to come back many more times and enjoy this sweet spot.There is close proximity to all the best places. Everything we wanted to do in Hot Springs was nearby.From this central location

Loved the place

My husband and I were very happy with this booking. There were a few bumps in the road during our stay, however, Marie went out of her way to handle them and see to it that we were taken care of, even when we had to move to another cottage because of the inconvenience. With that being said, Marie was so wonderful to us and she was in constant communication with us to be sure we were happy. I highly recommend staying at her cottage, you won't be disappointed. Would love to come back someday.

Super cute, clean property

This is a super cute and clean property which I enjoyed very much. Open floor plan so if you have people who want privacy this may not be your place, but if you like open floor plans it is perfect! Great communication, property as listed! Marie went above and beyond with anything we needed help with. She was easy to communicate with and very understanding to our situation regarding travel. The shower is pretty small which is listed in the listing so prepare for that. The deck is absolutely heaven! Again super clean and super great communication with the owner.
