"The Holiday Inn never disappoints…the staff was lovely and accommodating.
My dissatisfaction was this:
1. The location was not convenient to Lisbon Airport as stated by Expedia. Traffic makes a 20 minutes ride close to an hour.
2. LOVESEAT in my room was ripped…not acceptable in my opinion.
3. The Hotel offers a lovely bottle of wine but no glasses or a corkscrew in the room. You must go to the front desk. Sorry but that was inconvenient after a long day of travelling.
4. No restaurant...

"Said apartment was on second floor but many flights of steps to the 'block', then a spiral staircase. Being nearly 80 and with a hospital appointment, very difficult. As near hospital with heart & cancer specialisms, this should be made clear."

"Wow, where to begin about Villa Dorothea. The property is absolutely stunning and the photos do not give it justice! Check in was smooth and our room was available early which was amazing. The welcome drinks and little check in waiting area is a great touch. The staff were incredible friendly and helped carry our luggage up to our room without asking. The suite we booked was stunning, with a separate living room, bedroom and a bonus dressing room with a view of the ocean.
The room was...

"This is truly a palace. The room was very large with a beautiful bathroom and a door from the bedroom to the large closets and bathroom. If one of the occupants wants to get dressed early, this allows the other person not to be disturbed while sleeping. There are plenty of balconies where you can eat outdoors as well as the breakfast room. The breakfast was one of the best I’ve had at a hotel. The pool outside as well as indoors are beautiful. It is a seven to $10 Uber ride to all the sites. ...

"This place is a hidden gem. Great restaurants nearby, train station 2 blocks away. Most rooms can see the ocean. The breakfast buffet is great. There’s a grocery store 10min walk away. It’s not a crowded hotel. You can walk to a great path on the beach that goes all the way to Cascáis! It’s a winner. Rooms are large and most come with a bathtub which is rare in Europe. The only small potential drawback is if you have business in Lisbon and it’s rainy, the road into the city can be jammed up and...

"Hotel is basic, no tv or tea or coffee in room. But tea and coffee next to lifts. And kids don’t watch the tv anyway. Hotel location for great for us for exploring Lisbon and getting train to cascais, which was worth the visit. I would stay here again if in Lisbon"
