"We had an amazing room with our own sauna, the room / apartment was spacious with lots of lounge space, couches and storage. We were on the top floor with amazing views overlooking the city lights and streets below, along with the alps/mountains across the horizon. The staff were very accommodating and while they didn’t speak much English they made every effort to attend to us. It gave us a good opportunity to practice using our translator apps."

The owners, Simone and Thomas, made us feel very welcome and could not have been more helpful Simone talked to us about our plans in the area and then provided us with maps and recommendations which we gladfully used. "Clean safe great location. Came here a day before castle tour as that is an ordeal in itself. Bus to castle right outside and the hotel even gave us a free bus ticket. Breakfast was good and inexpensive at hotel also. Rather confusing inside of hotel with various incongruous floors doors etc. I would stay here again."

"Easy train to Garmisch. Quiet and staff were so friendly and helpful. They even had stamps for sale for our letters and postcards. Breakfast was excellent with a big variety of foods, even an omelet/egg station. Train to Eibsee/Zugspitze is a mini block away and takes you right there (train passes provided to us as part of our stay). Great experience and would return"
