"We were attending a gig a Ludlow Castle, most accommodation was booked or expensive at Ludlow for the night of the gig so we chose to stop at Stokestay Hotel because there was a train station close that we could catch there and back. The longest, twistiest single lane country road with flocks of bantams took 15 minutes to reach the lodge from theain A road. Crazy!
