Welcome to Heron Hollow! Enjoy swimming, kayaking, paddle-boarding, and fishing off our our new dock! Or experience lounging on the spacious patio, cooking on the 3 in1 grill or relaxing in the hot tub. Relax while watching phenomenal sunsets every evening beside the pond. This home provides a rare opportunity to stay on a private pond, amidst 430 acres of conservation land protected by The Nature Conservancy and The Audubon Society. The Long Pond-Ell Pond preserve is a Rhode Island treasure and the state’s only National Natural Landmark and provides extraordinary privacy. For security and insurance, there are outdoor security cameras pointed at the entrance, waterfront and fire pit. This exceptional home boasts over 450' of direct waterfront and 7.5+ acres of land surrounding. You will find easy access to miles of hiking trails that stretch from Route 3 into Connecticut. Despite being in the heart of a conservation area, Heron Hollow is situated a short drive to many popular destinations: I-95 is a short 5 minute drive which allows for easy navigation throughout RI. Minutes from a variety of golf courses and restaurants. Less than 30 Minutes from Rhode Island's famous beaches; including: Westerly Town Beach, Misquamicut State Beach, Historic Watch Hill and Narragansett Bay. Less than 30 minutes to Historic Mystic Seaport, the Mystic Aquarium and Stonington Vineyards in Connecticut. Within 30 minutes to and from the Providence / Warwick Airport (PVD), as well as, to Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun Casinos. 40 minutes from Jamestown Island and Newport. We stayed here with 11 people for New Year’s Eve and my birthday! The property is secluded and peaceful, right on the lakefront, which made it feel like our own private retreat. The sunsets over the water were beautiful, and the hot tub was spotless and ready for us to enjoy. The home was spacious, maintained, and the kitchen was incredibly well-equipped - perfect for a large group.Our winter stay was great, and I can only imagine how incredible this place will be in the summer. A few small things could have made the stay even better: a little more dish detergent, trash bags, and paper towels would have been helpful for a four-night stay. Also, the remote for the large TV in the living room didn’t work well, even after we bought new batteries, so we had to adjust the volume on the TV itself. Those were minor inconveniences compared to everything else. This home is perfect for relaxing, celebrating, and making memories with family or friends. We did not realize that one of the bedrooms is attached in what used to be a garage, with wetbar, microwave, fridge and own bathroom/shower. Great private space for a couple! Highly recommend - we would stay here again!

This house is amazing and the host pulled out all the stops. The home was beautiful and lots of rooms and little nooks to relax. The deck and hot tub is a bonus. The surrounding woods and trails were so peaceful and relaxing. I would stay again and again.

Our group spent a fantastic 4 nights here. Beautiful deck with a world-class view. Extensive amenities in the kitchen. The kayaks and fishing poles were appreciated. Very private - feels like the lake is there just for you. The deck can get a lot of sun but the overhang next to the guest house is convenient for anyone who gets overheated. Having an ice maker available with a large group was definitely appreciated. This place is fantastic and we're already planning our next trip down!

Perfect location!

Located lakeside at the end of a long dead end road, this property could not have been more perfect. The owners have made full use of the view with open indoor spaces, large windows and multiple outdoor spaces. This includes a great dock, paddle boards and a slide. Everyone was delighted, and we ranged in age from 6 to 86. A fabulous vacation.

Perfect home and location Just what we needed.

Our family is spread out over the country...Colorado... North Carolina...Pennsylvania, and we wanted to get together to celebrate the memory of our brother on his birthday this year. We found this place with the name of "Hope Valley" and hoped for a peaceful location to be able to spend time as a family without a lot of noise where the focus of the trip would be on enjoying time spent with family without the distractions of everyday life. The home is more beautiful in person that the pictures could possibly show. I am grateful to have been able to experience the peace and tranquility of this waterfront property as well as the spacious and comfortable home that we were able to share with our whole family. The owners of the home, paid attention to the details...so we didn't have to. The beds were comfortable and the blankets/sheets, towels, and kitchen supplies were all provided and though we didn't need them, there were 1st aid kits throughout the house. We didn't have a chance to get out on the water, but I hope to get back some time in the future to be able to explore the pond on the paddle boards and kayaks that were provided with the home. It was the perfect home and location and we are so grateful to have had the opportunity to be able to stay here with our family.

A Truly Beautiful Stay

My family booked this home for a birthday getaway weekend and it was wonderful. The building and property are beautiful and well maintained. There are so many beds and private spaces that everyone had plenty of room while we were there. And while the inside of the house is great, the back along the lake was truly exceptional. The patio has plenty of seating and a spectacular view. We could not recommend the is property enough.

Relaxed and rejuvenated in peaceful Hopeville.

You can definitely invite your whole extended family here! Comes with a plethora of beds, tons of places to chillax. Extra rooms and outdoor space give you the ability to get away and have some peace, quiet and alone time. Kitchen has the basics. Large kitchen, easy to cook in with more than one person. The view from the deck is outstanding, beautiful, and gorgeous at sunrise and sunset. The view from the kitchen the dining room and living room is spectacular. The view from the two adult bedrooms upstairs is also absolutely beautiful. Furnishings are simple, but highly functional. Dining room table probably fits 12 to 14 guest. Nicely landscaped. Sitting directly on the pond it could not be closer. We’re not really able to use the dock because it has some challenges, but they’re in the process of repairing the dock. Owner mentioned this before we came. In fairness, this was during the late April.Hot tub is awesome! If you have any problems with the hot tub, let the owner know immediately she can usually tell you how to get everything up and working. Sunsets are gorgeous!
