Tranquility reigns at Talisman

This spacious and private 4-bedroom/3.5-bath home sits high above the turquoise water of the Atlantic Ocean. The 2 story wrap around decks allow you and your guests to enjoy breathtaking views in all directions. Celebrate gorgeous sunrises on the eastern facing deck or lift a glass and toast the sun kissing the water on the western facing deck.

Talisman has two master ensuite rooms with sliding doors that walk right out to breathtaking views of the Atlantic. The other two bedrooms both contains two twin beds and share a hallway bathroom. There is also a new outdoor private shower available!

This beautiful beach home is newly-renovated (thank you to hurricane Dorian), with a custom kitchen and cozy seating area. If you enjoy relaxing at home in the air conditioning with gorgeous views this is the spot for you! Did we mention there’s an onsite hot tub! Talisman runs fully off of solar power but don’t worry there is a back up generator just for peace of mind.

If getting out an exploring is more your thing then head out the back door to a staircase that leads you right from the backyard to the ocean beach! The quieter bay shore is more your thing? Well that is simply just a 2 minute walk away. You can also take the short walk to the North End dock which provides free docking if you own/rent a boat or meet up with captains to take you out on the clear blue waters for that day!

Water not your thing? Don’t worry the adorable town of Hopetown is just a short golf cart ride or bike away. Here you will find small markets, adorable stores, and delicious food!

Talisman is a beautiful, relaxing, quiet refuge where you, your family, and friends can enjoy the vacation time together you so richly deserve!

We had a lovely stay at Talisman!

The house is open and plenty of room. We had two small families, the dual masters were great. Lots of games in living room to play. The house is fully stocked with everything you need to cook and relax. Sunrise on the balcony is incredible. The front porch was so nice to drop snorkel and boat gear. Super easy walk or golf cart ride to boat parking. Plenty of towels made it easy for beach and boat days. Coffee maker took kcups or made a full pot. Kitchen was stocked with Knives and everything for cooking meals in. Outdoor shower and Sonos in the living room were amazing! We will be back!

Talisman-

Beautiful house with good sun coverage- located in a less than satisfactory setting for beach walks, sitting on beach, or snorkeling (my idea of a 1st Time Bahamas trip). The house was very well-stocked with towels, but it would have been nice to have had a washer/dryer. The master bath lacked some needed additional bars/rings to hang towels and toilet paper. The decor was well-done, and I loved the colors. It would have been nice to have had a full-length mirror in the master bdrm. The games were great, spices in cupboard were very nice, since we cooked a lot. A/C had an issue one day, but nice guy came out to fix, and communication was good w/ owner. The emergency lights and supplies were great. * The picture of the beach in VRBO site is outdated & rather misleading. We were expecting white sand beachfront; instead, dead black/brown coral-that was treacherous to walk on-covered the entire beachfront. There wasn't a spacious lot filled with white sand next door either (as is shown in the photo). This area was where a large house had been built since the photo was taken. This was extremely misleading. The hot tub wasn't treated with chemicals and in ready condition which was also disappointing. The family was looking forward to what the VRBO description suggested. Our expectations weren't met for a magical Bahamas vacay, I'm sorry to say. I would have appreciated better accuracy with updated photo of the house and beach area. VRBO- please be fair to your customers.

Awesome place even with hurdles

We went in September when many of the local businesses are closed for vacation and we got some weather from Hurricane Ian. Despite this we had an awesome time! The house is exactly as shown and even better live when you can hear the ocean waves. Everybody was extremely friendly and helpful! The owner responded to any question very quickly and even helped me arrange a golf cart. We look forward to going back in the future!

Beautiful view and house

The house was just as pictured. Beautiful views and newly re-done interior. Short walk to north end dock. Just make sure to confirm golf carts and/or boat rentals for your stay before booking as transportation from the north end is completely different than in town or south end.
