Amazing Mt. Hood and Valley Views at Ziphaus!

  • This newer home is five minutes from downtown Hood River. Located in the hills above Eastside Drive, ZipHaus has panoramic views of Mt. Hood and the orchards of the Hood River Valley. Enjoy gorgeous sunsets or relax to birdsong on our front deck. You’ll love being close to all the action Hood River has to offer, but far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet.

    ZipHaus has 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, with the master suite on the main floor. The master has incredible views of the valley and Mt. Hood, a king bed, walk-in closet and a private full bath. The upstairs has two bedrooms (one king, one queen), two twin beds tucked into the wall of the TV room (which has a 55" flat screen, Dish and Roku), and another full bath. There's a half bath on the main floor off the laundry room. There's also a Pak N' Play and a booster style high chair for littler guests.

    The kitchen is roomy and open to the dining and living rooms. It has plenty of storage and a large island with seating for four. The dining room seats six with room to spare and has fantastic views of Mt. Hood and the Valley. The living room features a gas fireplace, a 55" flat screen television, and double glass doors to the front deck. There's WiFi throughout the house. A gas grill on the back patio is available for your use, and the front deck is a relaxing place to enjoy the views with a cup of coffee or a glass of local beer or wine.

    Hood River is an outdoor sporting mecca – bicycling, wind surfing, hiking, skiing, kayaking, SUP and just about any other snow or water sport you can think of! Our garage is perfect for storing all of your outdoor gear.

    Located just five minutes off I-84, ZipHaus has easy access to the Fruit Loop, Mosier Twin Tunnels, the Whoopdee Trail for hiking and mountain biking, and great cycling routes right out the front door. The Hood River Chamber of Commerce has fantastic links to the many, MANY fun things to see and do in Hood River. (http://hoodriver.org/travelers-guide/things-to-do)

    In the winter, you're just 30-40 minutes from world class downhill skiing at Mt. Hood Meadows, miles of cross-country skiing at Teacup Lake and Cooper Spur Mountain (along with some easy downhill runs), sledding at Little Jon and White River Sno Parks, and miles and miles of snowshoeing.

The Zip Haus is a beautifully maintained home with everything you could possibly need! Diane was quick to respond to any questions we had and was extremely kind.The view was spectacular and the surrounding area was quiet and relaxing.I highly recommend staying at the Zip Haus to anyone staying in the Hood River area.

This was my favorite stay! The house is amazing and the view is priceless! The house has everything you could possibly need. The kids enjoyed having their own area upstairs. Convient location, close to everything, with great views from the kitchen, living room, bedroom, and deck. 100% would stay here again!

Beautiful house in beautiful location with fabulous Mountain View. Easy communication with host, and easy access to house. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I especially appreciate that the Kitchen had everything we needed and they were plenty of towels and supplies for kitchen and bathrooms and the beds were comfortable. Highly recommend!

This house was really excellent - the view of Mt Hood is better than anywhere else we went and the house is very well equipped for a family. We appreciated the convenience of the pack n play and high chair, lots of games and other fun things to do in the house, and just a short drive into Hood River for meals out. Host is also very responsive and helped us quickly resolve a small need. Thanks!

The house is even better in person, incredible views and very spacious. Probably one of the best locations in Hood River. 5 minutes from downtown but you feel like you are way out in the countryside surrounded by orchards and an epic view of Mt. Hood from almost every window in the house. Everything is newly updated, high quality, and attention to detail. Also, very kid friendly. We absolutely loved it and already want to go back. As for the host, she was wonderful and very helpful and accommodating. She always responded promptly and was even able to let us check in 5 hours early on the day of arrival. I would give 6 stars if I could!

Absolutely amazing

What an amazing location! Not only are the views amazing, but it's incredibly close to the downtown area and hiking trails. We had everything we needed for the stay and enjoyed the time incredibly. Book it, you won't be disappointed!

AMAZING property. We were here for my son's wedding. The host was wonderful to work with. The home was very comfortable, modern and well-appointed.
