Envision time on 45 acres of a landscaped park-like estate bordered by two streams - one is seasonal with a forty foot waterfall. Imagine picnicking by the stream or going for leisurely walks. The 800 plus square foot guest house provides privacy and space to relax. Visitors proclaim it is one of the most beautiful, relaxing places they’ve ever visited. The quaint town of Honomu is a short walk away and Akaka Falls is just up the hill. Kolekole Beach park is a short walk or drive away.

Beautiful property and very welcoming! We had just spent 4 nights in Kona and it was such a relief to get away from the crowds and have such a peaceful and private retreat. Everything from the home to the grounds to the pets are so obviously loved and well cared for! Would love to stay again some day!!

Our Stay at a Beautiful Property in Honomu

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property in Honomu HI. The property was as advertised - quiet and beautifully landscaped. We enjoyed walking the property looking at the plants, birds, goats, chickens & view of the ocean. Our hosts had thoughtfully stocked the refrigerator with some staples that were helpful, including fresh eggs and some chocolates. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed having breakfast on one of the two patios/decks.

The one bedroom cottage had high quality construction with a high ceiling, well-appointed kitchen, and sliding glass doors to private green vistas from the living room and bedroom. Host was friendly and helpful. Fantastic location near little town of Honomu and Akaka Falls.

Beautiful property

We stayed for one night at this beautiful property. It was very close to Akaka Falls and Umauma Falls Zipline which was the reason we chose this location. The grounds of this 45 acre property are gorgeous and meticulously maintained. We had a great time feeding the goats and checking out both the 20 foot and 40 foot waterfalls on the property. If you are looking for a remote location, this is the place to be! We were able to do laundry as a washer and dryer are in the rental. We used the hot plates to cook on. This side of the island is damp so everything feels a little chilly even when it is 70 degrees.

Fantastic, relaxing, stay on a beautiful property, conveniently located. The clean, well equipped, comfortable guest house is run by very nice and helpful hosts who went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable in more ways than one. We hope to return soon!

Absolutely the best place I’ve ever stayed. (Sorry Maryland property). Beautiful surroundings, paradise. Zack and Tibey were the best greeters and ambassadors. Beverly and Gerry were the perfect hosts. We wanted for nothing. The fresh citrus shared from their fruit trees was amazing. Would definitely recommend and would come back. True Hawaiian Paradise

This is truly an amazing property to stay at with lots to explore and see. For our next trip to Hawaii, we will absolutely book it again. Gerry and Beverly are excellent hosts; gracious and kind. They are very knowledgeable; the only regret I have is not being able to spend more time with them on this trip! Honomu retreat

We had a great three nights at this property. Beverly and Jerry were gracious and thoughtful hosts. The property is spectacular and the unit was comfortable and well furnished. Definitely would love to stay here again when visiting the Hamakua Coast.

Clean little house on a great property

My wife and i had a wonderful time at this beautiful place. The hosts were very freindly, as were their well behaved dogs. We had a great time on the island and being able to wander the paradise of a property. Would 100% recommend staying here, if you are in the area.

Absolutely incredible

I know it's cliche, but I truly wish I could give Bev and Gerry more than five stars. Their property is stunning - we spent half a day just roaming the beautiful grounds, seeing the plants and animals. It's incredibly secluded and felt like we were in our very own tropical paradise. Bev and Gerry are outstanding hosts and do everything they can to make the place welcoming and comfortable. I highly recommend staying here, and hope we can make it back one day.

Magical Paradise with Incredible Hosts

We so enjoyed our stay on this gorgeous property! The environment is so lush and green, and we loved walking the grounds with our hosts' friendly dog escorts. We loved meeting the goats and chickens. Beverly was so warm, thoughtful and kind - making sure we had everything we needed. We so appreciated the fresh eggs, banana bread and fresh flowers. Our cottage had everything one could need. Thank you so much for a truly spectacular stay, we would love to return and will highly recommend this stunning property to our friends!!

Absolutely beautiful 'plantation' that they welcome you to wander on. If you cant find your way around, Zack and Tibey will take you on a tour (family dogs) they know exactly where to take you. Beverly and Gerry are the most wonderful hosts you could ask for. They shared their love of the property with us and the property shows their love for it. Fruit trees abound and we were welcome to take what we would like. Orange juice and fresh eggs were in our cottage awaiting us! we could not have asked for more. Nights are beautifully quiet other than the coqui frogs which lulled us to sleep. You will not be disappointed.

We knew the pictures online of Bev and Gerry's property were gorgeous, but they do not do the property justice. Beautiful, quiet, peaceful. The dogs are great tour guides. We really needed the peace that comes with staying here. Thank you for everything. It couldn't gave been more perfect.
