When we booked our stay at the Imperial Resort we relied heavily on reviews posted and I hope this review is helpful to someone else. Firstly, we are a family of 4 with two teenagers. Space for each of them for sleep and 2 bathrooms is top on our list when we travel. We stayed in a Palm suite and were very happy that it checked off each of these requirements having a separate bedroom for us and then a Murphy bed (so easy to use and put away daily! ) and a queen sized sofa bed for our kids. Having a small yet complete kitchen available was really nice and the tiny dishwasher, coffee pot and toaster were nice inclusions.
The great:
- larger apartment style hotel spaces for families or friends traveling together
-kitchen and 2 baths in our suite
-value for cost
- LOCATION! Soooo perfect with Waikiki beach walk right there, loads of restaurants within steps away and the beach across the street and down a very short 1 min path
-rooftop pool and loungers make for a perfect quiet spot for catching some sun, viewing the beach and reading or splashing with the kids
- exceptionally kind and attentive staff, particularly the men working the Valet and the front desk staff.
-the valet works seamlessly and seems on par or better priced than other parking options we explored
What could be improved?
- The building is old and showing signs of wear. Reno’s to bathrooms and suites should be considered to stay attractive. It’s a clean and comfortable Hawaiian vibe though! Would stay again!
