Loved the condominium complex and grounds. All were beautiful and well maintained. Our condo was furnished well and had a great view of all the whale activity from the deck. The location was close to a grocery store, restaurants and food trucks. A sandy beach with great snorkeling was a short walk away.

The sofa is very uncomfortable. The cushions are collapsing when you sit on it. Also a tile is coming up on the floor, maybe look into fixing it. It was a beautiful view from the corner apartment!

Water view was spectacular. Spent a lot of time on lanai just looking at the waves and listening to the ocean. Location was very convenient. Kitchen was well stocked. Was exactly as advertised. The host was very responsive from the moment the booking was confirmed with helpful tips and info on the area. Everything was clean and in well working order. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again if in Maui for another vacation.

Absolutely loved this stay! The VIEW is amazing. Clean and airy and well equipped. Grounds beautifully maintained and staff have the aloha spirit I would definitely stay here again.

Unbeatable Stay

Our stay here was absolutely excellent. The location is perfect—just steps from the ocean with the soothing sound of waves to wake up to each morning. You can’t beat the proximity to the beach, and we loved being able to walk right out and soak it all in.The property itself was clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay.

Breathtaking Ocean Views and a Very Comfortable Stay

My husband and I returned a few days ago from our week plus stay at this wonderful condo. When we walked in, we were blown away by the amazing view. We felt like we had won the lottery -- so beautiful! It was prime time for whale watching from the lanai -- too many sightings to count! We also enjoyed watching a few sea turtles in the surf right below the lanai. The accommodations were very nice -- the hosts really made it feel like a home away from home. We also appreciated how responsive the host was with questions we had. They never left us waiting too long for an answer. The Papakea Resort where the condo is located has pretty and well-kept grounds. The front desk staff was also very helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope we can come back to stay in this awesome condo sometime in the future!

Beautiful location, some renovation needed to condo

Great stay, very clean and amazing view and location, and owner was very responsive to issues such as faulty fridge and food lost as a result, Upstairs of condo could use serious renovation (old shower and carpet, stained bed cover), and mattress for living-room sofa-bed very uncomfortable, surprising and unacceptable given that this condo is supposed to sleep 6 and charges a high price for it. Lanai is best part.

Great property in great location

The property was even better than we had imagined. The sunset view from the corner unit was awesome! The location was perfect for the activities we had planned on Maui. The kids loved the pool and hot tub and the upscale Weber grills around the pool were a bonus. There was a lot of beach equipment included and plenty of kitchen appliances & utensils available. The hosts were very responsive to all of our questions and we had a very enjoyable experience.

Beautiful condo with perfect location!

We loved staying at this condo for 10 nights! It has everything you need and the air conditioning works very well, as do the washer/dryer. The kitchen is fully equipped and updated. There are two boogie boards and snorkling gear that you can use as well as a cooler for any Road to Hana or Haleakala journey you might be taking. The condo is located in a nice area and is convenient to shopping and restaurants. I loved that I could lay in the sun on the grassy area and not get full of sand while I watched my kids play. The views from the balcony are PERFECT. They are several grills by the pool and we did use them. Papakea is a very well maintained property with many activities, including tennis. We loved eating on the patio. Kapalua Bay and Napili Bay are nearby and are great snorkling spots. We are so grateful we got to stay here and experience Maui to its fullest! We loved it. Thank you again!

Ocean Front Relaxation

Our stay in Papakea condo A407 was perfect. We had previously stayed in another Papakea condo off of the the ocean, which was also very nice, but the location of A407 on the ocean was amazing. The views from the corner lanai were breathtaking. You could see the sunset during the evening, and also the sunrise over the mountains in the morning. The big picture window in the living area overlooked the island. The kitchen was very nice and had everything we needed to make our meals. Beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed sleeping in the open loft, which had its own bathroom, and listening to the ocean waves every night. We had a very relaxing stay and will definitely come back to A407 someday.

Perfection

Unfortunately, my family and I were only on Maui for 3 nights. We all agreed we wish we had more time in this incredible condo. The views couldn't be beat. Too many whales to count right outside and several sea turtles 30 feet from the retaining wall. The check in / out process was very easy, and the owners were quick to answer any questions. We will definitely return.

A 407 review

Beautiful corner ocean front unit with loft second bedroom and bath. Well equipped with everything we needed. Papakea conveniently located to sites, shopping and dining nearby. Sitting out on the lanai gave us perfect views of rainbows and whales, a real treat. Thanks for the welcome floral arrangement that lasted all week. Your binder of pertinent information was very helpful. A great experience in total!

Fantastic Ocean View

The condo has a fantastic view of the Pacific ocean and we enjoyed watching the whales and waves on this our 2nd stay. The beds are comfortable and the unit had everything we needed. We plan to return next year.
