I liked the runner rugs that were on the floor as my dog likes rugs better than tile. We got there a little early and the owner was okay that with us getting in early. For the most part , the house was pretty clean. There were cigarette butts in an ashtray on the table by the front door. There were other little things like that so I gave 4 stars. The house and area were quiet and we had everything we needed.

We enjoyed the property and it was perfect for our needs. I love the Homosassa area and the old Florida appeals to us with it's family feel. Our dog enjoyed hanging out with us on the patio. It was quiet and safe street to get in a morning walk. The property owners are super nice and hospitable, sharing info on some of the great places to visit and grab a bite nearby. We highly recommend you book a stay.

The house was as described. It was clean and ready for us when we arrived. The bedrooms were nice size with comfortable beds. The hosts were friendly and responsive. They gave us good ideas on things to see and restaurants to go to. We appreciated that it was pet friendly and our dog enjoyed running around. The house is centrally located to local attractions. Check out Ozella run for nice sunsets and the Freezer for great shrimp.

Host was welcoming, communicated well.Upon arrival, easy entry and easy parking.It was cleaned to perfection, and a lot of clean towels!There's cool art on the walls.Comfortable and bright beachy colors.A great place for rest and relaxation with a whole lot to do in the surrounding areas.Private and safe street.Washing machine/dryer was a plus!Absolutely 100% would do it again, and I recommend a visit.

Everything was very dirty when we arrived. We swept the floor, but did not feel comfortable using the furniture or kitchen amenities. We changed the sheets and stayed the night, spent the day with nearby family for Thanksgiving, returned to sleep, then left early.

Good dog friendly property

We were in town to see & swim with the manatees on Christmas vacation. We also travel with our French bulldogs. Finding a spot that welcomes our dogs is sometimes difficult. The pups approved of this stop. Part of the back yard has been fenced. This allowed the dogs easy access from back door & the humans didn’t have to be attached to a leash. We ate out, but the kitchen looked to have anything needed to cook. The house is 5 minutes from the spring & manatees. Close to restaurants, and other attractions. We will definitely return.

This was a great place to stay

The place is very clean. The owners are amazing. They are there to help you and make your stay very comfortable. I will go back and stay. Close to everything as far as shopping, Macraes. The Shed. Seafood if you want to get seafood to eat. Very nice place to stay.

This is NOT a Non smoking house as listed

Upon arrival, the stench of cigarette smoke was nearly unbearable! My girlfriend has Asthma and had some difficulties breathing. I had my son and his friend with us and they were quite upset as well! The place was not very clean either. There were tiny hairs from someone shaving all over the bathroom as well as residue all over both sinks. After spraying nearly a full bottle of Clorox bleach spray, the smell went away for about 15 minutes. Luckily my brother was staying close to us and we were able to spend most of our time at his RV. This should never be listed as a "NON-SMOKING" rental! And whoever you are paying to "clean" Should be HELD ACCOUINTABLE FOR NOT DOING SO! I would have demanded our money back if we had another option to stay somewhere else. I truly dislike having to write this as we were just looking for a cozy spot to lay our heads for a couple nights!

Everything was just as we hoped. Easy access to everything, clean, the owners were very friendly and even gave us some places to visit and good places to eat. We had a great time on our little weekend getaway! We definitely will be back!

Hosts are very nice, home is very old

I want to start by saying that the hosts, Karl and Marie, are so very nice and accommodating. I think our stay was their first listing on VRBO. The house is very old and is need of a lot of upgrades and clean up. The house was clean for the most part, just "wear and tear" on appliances. The beds were comfortable. Definitely needs blinds/curtains on the main window and sliding glass doors and the front window is missing a lock.
