Located in the heart of Tahoe Swiss Village, this spacious cabin-style home offers mountain living at its best. Take a short walk to the homeowner’s beach or hop on the bike trail and head out for miles. And if you're a boater, you'll love private access to the HOA's buoy field (additional fees apply). With over 3,000 square feet of living area, this well cared for home is the perfect home base for a family or group of friends looking to experience all that West Shore Lake Tahoe has to offer.
This home boasts 6 Bedrooms and 3.5 Bathrooms plus an extra bonus room upstairs. On the main level of this 2-story mountain getaway, you'll love the living / dining / kitchen area that really serves as the central gathering area of the home. With comfortable furnishings throughout along with direct access out to the large spacious deck, this living area is the ideal place to gather together and enjoy each other’s company. Sit around the gas fireplace on a cold winter day or watch your favorite movie for a relaxing night at home. And during the warmer months, this room feeds directly out to the spacious deck with outdoor circular dining table / chairs, a gas grill, and comfortable lounge furniture. The kitchen is nicely appointed and offers fantastic opportunities to show off your culinary skills. Or step out onto the deck and grill up a feast for your group’s delight (summer access only). This spacious home sleeps up to 12 guests with Bedroom / Bathroom configurations as follows:
- Primary Master Suite (main level) - King Bed Located on the main level and to the left of the central living area. Enjoy vaulted ceilings as well as direct access to the main deck along with a large en-suite bathroom equipped with tub and shower.
- Bedroom 2 (main level) - Queen Bed Located on the main level and to the right of the central living area. This bedroom is directly adjacent to Bedroom 3 and to the shared bathroom in the hallway.
- Bedroom 3 (main level) - Twin Bed Located on the main level and to the right of the central living area. This bedroom is directly adjacent to Bedroom 2 and to the shared bathroom in the hallway.
- Bedroom 4 (upper level) - King Bed Located on the upper level, this bedroom shares a centrally located bathroom with Bedrooms 5 & 6, as well as, the Bonus Room.
- Bedroom 5 (upper level) - Double / Full Size Bed Located on the upper level, this bedroom shares a centrally located bathroom with Bedrooms 4 & 6, as well as, the Bonus Room.

The trail feeds all the way into Tahoe City and then either splits towards North Shore or heads out along the Truckee River to Alpine Meadows / Palisades. No events or parties. This is a family friendly neighborhood (not a party house) and is best suitable for those looking to enjoy a peaceful time in the mountains.

There is parking for 3 - 4 vehicles on the driveway. Note that there is no access to the garage and street parking is not allowed at any Short Term Rental Property (per county ordinance).
Summer access to Tahoe Swiss Village HOA Beach is governed by the Tahoe Swiss Village Board. It is generally a very family / guest friendly environment; however please note that some guest restrictions and / or capacity limitations may apply during busier summer days.
No outdoor fires or charcoal bbq’s allowed per county ordinance. On red flag days, no open flame allowed (i.e. no use of propane grill).
Trash must be properly disposed of within metal bear bin alongside driveway. Do not leave any food or beverages in your vehicle as bears will not hesitate to help themselves to your goodies and can cause significant vehicle damage.
Home must be properly secured (doors locked, windows closed / locked, electric bear fence turned on) whenever not present in the home.
The driveway is on a seasonal plow service, whereas they come once per day when it snows more than 5 inches. They generally follow the road plows and will first clear the berms at the end of the driveway. You’ll need to move your cars so that the plows can access and clear the driveway (which takes less than 5 minutes once cars are out of the way).
The access to the property is through left front entry door. There are stairs that lead up from the driveway and they are exposed to the elements during the winter months. We do our best to ensure reasonable access to the property, but depending on the timing of your arrival (if during or immediately following a storm), there maybe some shoveling needed. There are shovels located onsite that can be used by guests, but we also recommend traveling with a shovel in case needed while in route.
WINTER ADVISORY: By reserving this house during the winter months (November - April), you acknowledge that you will be traveling into the mountains and that winter storms are common and often unpredictable. The dates that you are choosing to reserve are being held for your group and are therefore unavailable for other groups to reserve. In all cases, our cancellation policy will prevail. There will be no consideration afforded for difficult travel due to winter weather condition. We strongly advise that you pay attention to incoming storms and / or changes in weather patterns in order to help avoid travel delays or disruptions. It is also strongly advised that you travel with a 4WD or AWD vehicle, carry snow chains , and have a shovel that can be used if needed to dig out a stuck vehicle.
ALL SEASONS ADVISORY: By reserving this house, you acknowledge that you will be traveling to the mountains and that Lake Tahoe (while beautiful) is in a natural forest setting. As such, it is possible that you may encounter spiders, ants, field mice, etc. at properties throughout the area. We take every proactive measure to prevent pests from finding their way inside the property (i.e. regular cleanings, seasonal deep cleanings, routine pest control - i.e. spray perimeter and crawl space areas, set traps, seal up holes of entry, etc.). Despite those efforts, there’s always a rare possibility that pests can find their way inside the home (as it only takes a very small entry point for that to occur). This is simply a reality of living in the mountains. By accepting our house rules, you acknowledge this Advisory and agree that there will be no refunds or adjustments to pricing should you encounter a pest(s) within the home.
