STARFISH BUNGALOW AMAZING VIEW!! KACHEMAK DRIVE

This sweet little home is nestled in the trees on Kachemak Drive overlooking Kachemak Bay. Grewingk Glacier is across the bay, the view from the living room, 2 of the bedrooms, and the deck is simply amazing. From the deck, you can hear the surf, smell the fresh sea air, watch the eagles soar, and the boats pass. So VERY relaxing! Make your memories here in this newly restored, fully appointed home.

Great stay on the Kachemak bay

Our family had so much fun using the starfish cottage as our home base in Homer. We could’ve spent hours on the deck staring at the glacier and bay view! Saw bald eagles and a few seals! The beds were all very comfortable. Kitchen and bath were both had nices finishes and stocked as one would expect in a premier property. Prompt communication from host. Located close to spit, which was quite handy. Great breakfast/burger place at the boatyard. Highly recommended!

Fabulous Views!

Lovely stay at this very nice bungalow. The views from the deck were lovely, and everything inside was just fine. We enjoyed watching seals and sea otters in the water in front of the cabin. Highlight of our time in Homer was the trip to Halibut Cove. Another highlight was the bookstore in town. We had a delightful stay at the Starfish Bungalow, and we'd be happy to go back again.

Best vacation rental I’ve ever stayed in!!

The views from almost every window took my breath away- SO AMAZING! The place was decorated so tastefully and cute, the kitchen had everything needed to cook like you were in your own home, the BBQ was convenient- what can I say/ this is the only place to stay in Homer. I’ll definitely be back when I’m in the area again.

Beautiful Getaway

This home is absolutely beautiful and in a wonderful location. The beds were really comfortable and the home had all the amenities we needed. Our host was easy to communicate with and very friendly. I would absolutely recommend this home to anyone visiting Homer!

Fantastic view and location! The bungalow was clean and cozy but the star of the show is the view out the front windows. It can't be beat. It was also very easy to get to anything in Homer. Would definitely stay here again!

The hose was so easy and great to communicate with. We had an unforeseen circumstance and she worked with us so kindly ! My husband and boys loved the house with spectacular views and used the grill and fire pit! Wish there was more time there !

AMAZING!!!

The pictures do not give enough justice of the view from the back deck. It is AMAZING! Close enough to everything in Homer including Homer Spit. First visit for our family to Alaska and definitely will be back again. The description, communication, check in and check out processes, etc. where exceptional and would definitely recommend staying at the starfish bungalow. Thank you!!

Great Stay!

We stayed at the Starfish Bungalow for 5 days and loved everything about it. It was clean, comfortable, well appointed. and offered the most wonderful views and wildlife right outside our door! Connie, the manager, was most hospitable and helpful. We will definately be back!

Amazing Bungalow with bay views

We loved our stay at Starfish Bungalow, communication with owner was always quickly responded to, the view from the comfortable furniture both inside the home and out was amazing, afternoon Moose guest was a joy to watch. Very comfortable beds, kitchen stocked with anything you would need.

Best view in town

This house had everything we wanted. Great location, comfortable beds and a view that can't be beat whether inside or out. Connie was super nice and easy to reach. The bathroom needs a bit of repair to fix some loose tiles, but otherwise everything was clean and in good working order. one of the many highlights was having breakfast on the porch with two bald eagles in the nearby tree.

Spectacular view

Great stay at the Starfish Bungalow. Located on a bluff overlooking the bay with views of a glacier and snow capped peaks through a large window in the living room and a porch in the front. Nice outdoor grass with a firepit and benches around it. Very clean with excellent accomodations.- 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Full kitchen with good appliance.
