Fern Creek Convenient location w/ spectacular views!

This darling little house has been completely renovated in a rather eclectic Alaskan style. We have combined some of old Alaska with fresh looks for an utterly charming effect. Please note that the bedrooms in this house are upstairs while the bathroom is on the first floor.

Located conveniently close to town, on the back corner of the property, you have a private yard, plenty of parking, and spectacular views of Kachemak Bay and the snow-capped Kenai Mountain Range. There are decks across the width of the house on both levels. South-facing, the house and decks capture the full sun into the evening hours. Both decks have seating from which to relax, drink coffee (or whatever!) and take in the extraordinary views.

This is one of two rentals offered by Alaska Holiday Homes and available on this property. Rent both to bring a large group of family / friends together in one location (in all, 5 queen beds for 10 people).

You could not ask for better hosts and how well they keep this property. The view is spectacular and there are two decks in which to sip coffee from in the mornings. The home is clean inside and out! Washer and dryer for laundry are available on the bottom floor, which really helped us as we were guests for almost 2 weeks. You are a hop skip and away from all the things Homer has to offer and the roads are easy to navigate. BB’s Bakery was one of our favorite stops and if you’re there during the Farmer’s Market season, it isn’t more than a 5 minute drive. We recommend going to the Farmers Market as you will be able to immerse yourself into the community Homer is known for. Local jams, jellies, produce and fresh bread - as well as a great many other things.Truly a remarkable home to spend your vacation. It is simple and meets all needs for cooking in the kitchen. We weren’t able to spot the moose that frequent this property but it didn’t stop us from keeping our eyes open every morning and evening.You can also see pontoon planes fly overhead as they access Beluga Lake just down the way. Thank you so much for your delightful hospitality & landscape.This can’t be helped by the property owners and is simply out of their control, but it is in a busy road - that was our only reason for giving 4/5 stars for location. Some folks tend to like to hammer on the gas and that was a little overwhelming. Again, this was nothing that the property owners have any control over.

Very nice place to stay. Great location in Homer. Good view of mountains. All the amenities you need. Washer and dryer were a plus. Internet was slow, but wasn’t a big need for us. The place was just as the photos showed.

Perfect Place to stay in Homer

I can see why this airbnb has such amazing reviews! It is located in a great spot in town, close to everything, yet with a private and very safe feel. Mama moose and her baby visited one evening and we watched through the window in amazement as they made themselves at home in the yard. The beds are very comfortable, the shower is hot, and the coffee beans and grinder were a nice special touch. I would love to come back and stay here again if I ever make it back to Homer!

Great Stay

The cabin was well appointed with VERY comforable beds and pillows and the views were stunning. It was just a short drive down to The Spit where we saw lots of people meandering through. A nice drive up East End took us to Eveline park where you could see glaciers. .wertheonger.

Wonderful Stay

Loved the property and view and proximity to the Homer spit. Enjoyed our stay so much and got to do laundry so didnt have to pack as much for our 1 week adventure in Alaska!

The moose are for real.

Second summer we stayed in this home. Clean and great location. The moose picture with the online property pictures is for real. Arrived home after dinner our last night to find a mother moose and two calves bedded down in the front yard. Only in Alaska!

Homer Paradise

What a lovely stay in Homer. Cabin was quiet, clean and cozy. Just a short drive into town or to the spit. Beautiful view from the front decks. And a super special morning visit from Momms Moose and her two calves. Phyllis was a joy to work with. Hope to return again soon!

Comfortable and convenient!

We were two adult couples and enjoyed our four night stay. The home was comfortable and the location incredibly convenient to all sights in and around Homer. The view was stunning and the grounds beautiful and immaculate! We were visited by two sandhill cranes, a nice treat. Check in couldn’t have been easier. We had no problems, but knew if we did we could have easily reached the owner.
