En los pilares de piedra, la propiedad se abre a un santuario aislado como un parque. La casa está ubicada en un terreno de 1 y 1/2 acres de exuberantes jardines, frente al Océano Pacífico. Hay plátanos, lichi, maracuyá, aguacate, mango y más. Puede disfrutar de las espectaculares puestas de sol de Kona y las vistas lejanas de Kailua-Kona desde dos lanais. Esta propiedad tiene 2 dormitorios en el piso superior, ambos con camas queen y baños contiguos. Luego, en la planta baja, a través de un camino exterior, hay un dormitorio adicional con una cama doble y un baño contiguo. The Orchid Hale was more than we could have imagined. The property was so beautiful that we walked it several times during our stay. The lanai kept drawing us in for morning coffee and evening sunsets. The views were spectacular. The kitchen had everything we needed. The house was clean. It was a dream stay for my family. Nothing like we had ever stayed in before and would do it again and again.

Wonderful little hideaway nestled among the forest with spectacular views of the mountains! If you want a place that is remote and away from the touristy locations, this is a great option. Love that there is an A/C unit inside too.

Beautiful grounds, the house was very nice. Being up high over the ocean was a lot cooler comfortable to sleep. Only thing I didn’t care for was the screened in main sitting area where it somewhat obstructed clearer views for picture taking.

This was the perfect house for our family. We came to the big island for a family wedding which the venue was conveniently located right down the road. We enjoyed the grounds of the house and the hosts were very responsive to needs/requests. We were so appreciative of the snorkeling gear, beach towels, boogie boards, beach chairs and beach umbrella that we had access to while we stayed. Wonderful property!

This house made the perfect landing spot for our group with the space and comfort for 10 days to relax and cook a few meals at “home”. Mornings were amazing as we often took the short walk to the coffee cart and cafe for our morning brown butter miso latte! It rains a lot which means it’s much cooler here which made the stay much more comfortable in my opinion but you can get in the car and find the sun at a beach just a couple miles away.

Great Stay

we loved staying there. The entire property was amazing, filled with fun little surprises like seeing the white rabbit all the time and a wild boar in the neighborhood! I even enjoyed the frogs at night.

Vacation in Paradise

The location was exactly what I was hoping for, close to everything but felt like a far away land. The sunsets on the ocean from the screened in porch were amazing and the acre of tropical landscaping did not disappoint. We all agreed it was a very special place.

Spacious, beautiful home in Holualoa

Fantastic Hawaiian Home with Ocean View

We had a great experience. The property listing and pictures were exactly what we’ve enjoyed during our stay. We’ve walked the property every day and our grandchildren have really enjoyed the trees and beautiful flowers. Thank you for everything! Will recommend!

Great Experience!

We loved our trip! The house was very clean and well appointed. The Orchid Hale is a special gem. We loved being out of the commercial zone, enjoying the beautiful property, wonderful sunsets, and listening to Coqui Frogs at night. The beach and snorkel gear provided were a big plus.

Beautiful and restful

This property was magnificent. It was quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of any city life and sitting just on top of the small village of Honolua. The frogs sang you to sleep and they did leave a large box of earplugs for the roosters in the morning. Great property and would definitely stay there again!

Nice convenient nature house

We enjoyed the farm setting of this house. Frogs sing at night and roosters wake us up in the morning. Gorgeous view from all the windows. Very comfortable house and beds at the same time.

Amazing Vacation

Our 1st vacation as a family, and we had an amazing time staying at this location. It was a lot more and beautiful than expected. The experience here was great with so much to see and do. Neighbors were very nice and welcoming! It was also a great place to start the day and plan our day-to-day adventures. Definitely look forward to staying here again in the future! Mahalo (:

Great property on the side of Mauna Loa

Away from the hustle of Kona, this property sits on the side of Mauna Loa in an arts village called Holualoa. Even being away from the town, there are still expansive views and it is one of our favorite properties on the island. Great communication and easy to get into, although make sure to follow the directions to the place that are sent by the manager as Google Maps can't get you there.

Wonderful

Beautiful place, amazing location was secluded but short walk to fantastic dining and shopping. Loved every minute. If noises bother you, roosters and Koki frogs could be an issue. I didn’t mind either. We hope to return some day!

Beautiful property!

The property was beautiful! We loved the location - not close to a beach, but on the mountain side surrounded by coffee plants and lots of other lush vegetation. Not only was the property gorgeous but we enjoyed the daily visits from a couple of chickens and a bunny. Our little granddaughter was very excited about the animals! The house was very comfortable and well-appointed, with an inviting zen-like feel. Dinner every night on the lanai was a must so that we could watch the spectacular sunsets.

Tropical Escape

This property is it true Hawaii Island escape. Sitting on several acres surrounded by fruit bearing trees, stunning vegetation, manicured lawns, and stunning views of the ocean. This authentic-style Hawaiian home takes advantage of the cool trade winds allowing you to become part of nature with absolute privacy. Dining on the larger Lanai is breathtaking. This property includes a complimentary concierge who will help you plan your entire stay on the island. We will most definitely be booking this beautiful property again on our next day on the main island.

Very high on the hill. No need AC because wind is comfortable. The bedroom need more block from the frog noise.
