Tropical Paradise Cottage on the Beach VRC17-000167

This quaint cottage is located "on the beach" - 3007 Avenue F Unit 3 at 30th Street on beautiful Holmes Beach. It is the downstairs unit (1 of 2). The cottage is very comfortable and sleeps 4 with additional space for a pull-out. The cottage is hidden away on a dead end street away from it all, yet close to shopping and restaurants.

The unit has a full shower with tub, spacious kitchen with dishwasher and a compact washer/dryer. The grounds are filled with exotic, tropical plants and a private guest path to the beautiful blue water and white sand beaches of Anna Maria Island.

There is a free trolley that picks up throughout the day and evening located just one block away. The unit is centrally located between Bradenton Beach and Anna Maria where there are several shopping areas and many restaurants. St. Armand's Circle, Robinson Preserve, Bradenton's Riverwalk, DeSoto National Park and Ringling Museum all make for great local day trips!

Join us at Holmes Beach for the most beautiful sunsets and experience the tradition of Old Florida.

These are older, charming units built in the 50's that we continually update. Housekeepers clean at the beginning and end of each guest stay.

Parking - Located at the rear of the unit. Take 30th Street west toward the beach, then right on Avenue F down the alley.
Pets - Your dog may bark if unattended and must NOT bother neighbors or other guests. Pets must also be leashed at all times. A pet fee is required.
Noise Ordinance - Holmes Beach maintains a strict noise policy after 10pm nightly. Please refrain from gathering on the patio after 10pm.

We prepaid for this property

But considering the hurricane damage, I tried calling the owner 3 times in two days to find out if it was damaged from the hurricane, left messages, and NO reply. So we drove 9 hours to go there and it was totally damaged place. I had to contact VRBO on this issue, since I took pictures of the place, showing the damage, I got a total refund. Good luck fixing your place...

Tropical Paradis

The cottage needed upgrade in the bathroom area, tiles in shower area cracked/broken, molding around the bathroom exit door to outside had rott all along the floor area, in the bedroom the headboard on master bed appeared to be not attached to bed had to place a pillow between bed and wall to prevent it from knocking on the wall when sleeping, kitchen chairs had dried up food on the cushions that I actually had to wash off.. Needs up keep and TLC that would improve this rental.

Beach Bungalow Beauty

Due to uncontrollable circumstances we arrived quite a bit before check-in but Raquel was very accommodating so we left our bags and explored the island. The ground floor unit is exactly as advertised. This is an older cottage that has a charming, beachy feel. The updated beach chairs and outdoor furniture are a nice touch. If what you are looking for is a secluded spot with perfect beach access this is the place for you

We enjoyed our time at this cute place. We had all we needed to make our time enjoyable. Was a few steps to the beach. Most everything was in walking distance. The trolley was close by. We love the area. I would recommend.

A bit retro, immaculately clean, and about a 50 ft walk to the beach. Met by the property mgr as we arrived, gave us the tour of the place and shared info about the island. We planning to return for another stay.

Time of our lives!!!!!

Oh man, where do I start….. We arrived and was greeted with warm welcome from Racheal, who made sure we could get in okay and welcomed us. I thought that was very thoughtful❤️ The bungalow was older style but very clean and just perfect for our week stay. Then there is a path way to lead to heaven….the ocean!!!! The beach is very clean and quite and not busy like manatee beach in Anna Marie . The only down fall is NO SHELLS!!! ( Only littles) Thanksgiving was spent relaxing after I cooked us a good meal at the beach. Sunsets were amazing the orange rays were just breathtaking. The bungalow had chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards etc. Unfortunately it is all just a memory now!!!!

Great stay !

Great communication and direction to the property. It's an older place. Which was no problem for us. The price was right for an on the beach rental. After all, we spent more time on the beach than in the rental. The beach isn't overcrowded at their location either. We have a camp, so living in less than perfect conditions was not a problem. We'd stay there again !

GREAT PLACE, GREAT STAY!!

The property was so lovely and RIGHT ON THE BEACH, with our own private little path. It was so awesome, and the property manager, Raquel, was amazing! She was so helpful and super nice. I would definitely stay again!

Beautiful view of the sea

Such a lovely location, right on the beach. Easy to get to the trolley stop or shops that were walkable distance from the unit. Loved seeing the sun set over the sea every evening and wake up and walk along the beach in the early mornings. Owner is very responsive, accommodating and helpful. Just a wonderful overall stay and would highly recommend.

Beautiful Beach Experience

The rental was a bungalow style.. The bunk beds were very creaky and definitely not for adults. Shower needs updated. Wi-Fi was great. Coffee on the beach was only a few steps away!

Nice little cottage for two. Friendly owner, clean and well supplied with everything you need. Our only negative is the kitchen floor. They need to replace it. Will stay again next year if they update the floor.

we love staying here. proximity to beach cant be beat. private safe parking although slightly cramped. everything you need is there or a three minute drive. Racquel was very nice. we dont like the bed, but it was negligable in the mix. we will most definitely be back

Beautiful space

We absolutely loved the location of this place with nice little outside areas to relax or head right down to the beach!! Overall, the place was neat & tidy and while I'm not one to complain, the only real issue I had was the tile floor in entry could definitely use a scrubbing. We absolutely will be visiting again as the place pretty much met all of our requirements.
