Recently renovated in 2025, new kitchen, flooring and updated furnishings! Private beach getaway with a backyard oasis in a premium location, just 1 off the beach! This fun and convenient private home is a favorite amongst guests who return year after year! Located in the heart of Anna Maria Island, "SURFSIDE AMI" is close to all of the beach activities, shopping, dining, and entertainment. The beloved yellow house has been completely updated and furnished with well-appointed coastal decor. Many find the ground level living to be a luxury for guests of all ages. Jump right into the fun with many amenities included with the house rental: paddle boards, kayaks, beach chairs, umbrellas, wagon, baby gear, pool toys, games and bicycles. The best part? All of these conveniences are located 1 lot from the beach, that's about 170 feet or 50 meters from the Gulf of Mexico!

Your vacation begins as soon as you enter the ground level foyer with an open concept kitchen/dining/living room beyond. Glass french doors provide a glimpse of shimmering blue waters, which immediately draw you to the backyard pool and surrounding oasis of fun! Privacy fencing surrounds the backyard which includes lounge seating, outdoor table, putting greens, corn hole toss, and a bocce ball court. When you are ready to head inside, you will find two large king suites, laundry room and a 1 car garage located on the ground level. The poolside king suite has a walk in closet, private en-suite bathroom with a tile shower, TV and door to the pool area. Down the hall you will find another ground level king suite with trundle beds, a walk in closet, vanity and TV. The main bathroom has a tub/shower combo and is located just across the hall. The main living room has a deep, comfy couch with additional chairs and serves as a great place to chat, play games or watch tv. The dining room has seating for 14 with a large table and bar stools at the kitchen counters. The chef in the family will feel right at home in the large, open kitchen, which is stocked with cookware, plenty of dishes and utensils, a traditional coffee maker and a single cup Keurig coffee maker.

The second level is home to another king suite with a balcony, walk in closet, TV and a large en-suite tile bathroom with shower and double vanity. The neighboring second level family room provides an additional lounge area with a comfortable sectional sofa, mini fridge, TV, balcony and trundle beds. Adjacent to the family/trundle room, a private queen suite is tucked away with an en-suite bathroom and a private balcony.

Included with your stay, our fresh linens and towels are carefully selected for comfort and quality. Enhanced cleaning methods have been implemented as well. We love our repeat customers and want you to have a relaxing, beach vacation at the yellow house known as Surfside AMI!

Please note that golf carts must be leased separately through a private rental company. Should you wish to use a golf cart during your stay, we recommend that you reserve this as soon as you confirm your booking. A list of reliable companies can be provided by request. City of Holmes Beach noise ordinance includes Quiet Hours from 10:00 pm until 7:00 am daily. VRC 18-000097. Weekly and monthly rentals.

We loved Surfside! The location is great! Our family enjoyed the pool and the close beach. Well equipped home. The managers were very responsive to our requests. This was our fourth stay and we’d love to return.

Great family vacation house and location. Short easy level walk to the beach. Having the pool was nice especially the little ones. The house had all the beach toys and chairs we needed. Paddles boards were nice to have as well! The house was stocked better than most also! Thanks for sharing this lovely home with us!

Wonderful home and amenities!

Can't say enough good things about this property and management. My favorite thing was the access to the beach....so close. The beach chairs, umbrellas, toys and paddleboards were so nice to have. This was the first property that the property management team came to meet us upon our arrival. It was so helpful.

Beautiful Property

My husband, 2 daughters, sons-in-law and my 4 grandchildren (ages 2 under 1, 2 years and 31/2) spent the week at Surfside AMI. It was a wonderful time. Prior to the trip the owner was very quick to answer any questions we had and once we were on the property Goose and Dan were very attentive. The location, the house and amenities were amazing.

Exceptional!

We had 7 adults and 6 kids from 8 mos to 5 years and loved this place! The house was beautiful and the layout worked great for our family. The pool and putting green in back were awesome and the location to the beach was perfect! We were a little further from our favorite restaurants and coffee shops on Pine Street than we had been in the past but it was all within walking distance and it worked out great. The amenities provided like bikes, kayaks, paddle boards., baby stuff, etc. were amazing. The kitchen was well stocked and layout was nice and open. We cooked most of our meals in and, from a cooks perspective, would have liked a couple bigger frying pans since we were cooking for a bigger group, and a big cast iron for the stove or grill would have been nice. Overall, the place was great!

Spring Break in Anna Maria

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Surfside home in AMI for our family Spring Break. The home was beautiful and contained everything needed for entertaining, cooking, relaxing for the week. The backyard was amazing and kept everyone occupied. The neighborhood was quiet but the location was amazing and allowed everyone in our party to spend time at the beach every day! Finally the property managers were very welcoming and accessible. Will definitely be returning to Surfside next time we are in AMI!!

Great Vacation House

Property was great and as advertised. We had 2 families of 4 (4 adults and 4 teenagers) and had plenty of space and privacy. The house had pretty much all you need from bathroom towels, pool towels and about anything you need in the kitchen to cook meals. There are beach umbrellas and plenty of beach chairs and a wagon to haul it all. The backyard is great and the pool is a nice change from the beach when needed. The only minor negative was not having the pool cleaned until Thursday night after a tropical storm passed by on the Sunday before and blew a lot of junk into the pool. We removed what we could and ignored the rest. We would definitely book again if we make it back to AMI.

Beautiful location for a family getaway

Perfect spot for families with multi aged kids. Especially teens! House is very well equipped, super clean and convenient to all AMI has to offer. Very easy check in check out process. 10 out of 10 !!!! Hope to visit again !

Great Location!

Nice home for multi-generational stay. We are a foodie family who celebrated Thanksgiving and we were pleased w/the well stocked and spacious kitchen. Can’t beat the proximity to the beach-no need for a golf cart. Only glitch was the pool was dirty w/leaves and the heater was not on due to a breaker blow. Management dealt w/it in a timely fashion.

Wonderful vacation

We loved this property and how close it was to the beach. The house set up is awesome with everyone having their own bathrooms. We had 5 kids, two 18 years olds and three 21 year olds. They loved it as well. Goose and Gander property managers did an amazing job! Even had a pizza there for us when we got to the house as it was super late and everything was closed. I had texted her from our plane after we had to land in Tampa. Nothing on the island was open that late and she helped us out in a jam! Everyone was starving and Goose was so kind. Amazing! They also took great care of the home that week. The home has everything you need- the kitchen had everything! We will defiantly book this home again. Maybe 2 weeks next time.

Location Location Location !

Surfside was perfectly located for the beach and we had everything needed to enjoy spending time on the sand and in the sea which was a bit chilly but it was only the beginning of April. Wonderful beach walks - I would suggest beach shoes though as in places the shells were crushed and rather sharp at the waters edge. At the beach house the pool was magnificent and really warm which was great for our grandchildren. There was plenty of room for all of us - 6 adults and 2 children - the bedrooms were larger than what you would get at most rentals and particularly very stylishly furnished. It was also good to have 2 large fridge / freezers as we did dine in for the majority of the week and having been at Disney for the first week of our vacation we had lots of laundry so 2 washing machines and 2 dryers were a bonus as well. We all loved having use of the golf cart to get around locally. Lastly, a special thanks to Kathy, Lori and Dan for making our stay so memorable and being so attentive in our many various requests which they responded to with such speed on all occasions. We love AMI and really hope to return one day in the future.
