    Esta casa se encuentra en una ubicación MARAVILLOSA en el extremo sur de la isla en la hermosa Playa Topsail. Una amplia extensión de la costa antes de que el agua te ofrezca un montón de espacio en la playa y unas vistas HERMOSAS. Gran área de bonificación en el nivel superior proporciona espacios adicionales para vivir y dormir. Excelente cubierta frente al mar con acceso a la playa de 6 pies de ancho, ¡el doble de ancho que lo normal! Tiendas, restaurantes y el muelle Jolly Roger están a poca distancia en coche.

    Barnacle ofrece 5 habitaciones y 3. 5 baños. Los tamaños de las camas incluyen 2 Reyes, 2 Reinas, 2 Dobles y 2 Gemelos. Se proporcionan almohadas, pliegos y mantas. Las sábanas NO se proporcionan, pero están disponibles para alquiler.

Family gathering

This was a great family gathering. The access to the beach and views were great. Everything was clean. There were two issues we had with The Barnacle: the downstairs bedroom was so damp we couldn’t use it and the kitchen was poorly equipped.

What a beautiful week

The house was so comfortable for a large group of friends. The porch is fantastic. The house is right on the water - Gorgeous!

Wonderful house

We loved everything about our stay, the house is beautiful and the kitchen is fully stocked. The outside deck and living area was a wonderful place to hang out!

Relaxing......!!

Such a relaxing place to stay. Very limited crowds and the overall feel of the property is ultimate calm. We really enjoyed ourselves.

Very nice beach house. Big enough for extended family and perfect location. 100% recommend.

Perfect Vacation. Pictures do not do this cottage justice. It was big enough for extended family and the perfect setting for our beach wedding. Would absolutely recommend.

Very nice and large house.

It's an old house, but in good shape. The deck is amazing, huge covered and open areas - the nicest deck I've ever seen in a beach house. Nicely-appointed kitchen. The upstairs bedroom (with 3 double beds) is fabulous for a family. Only drawback: the downstairs bedroom (with two twin beds) is pretty much in the garage, kinda a rough space, with "industrial" feeling toilet and showers.

Great place but NO NEED TO USE VRBO to stay here

Recommend Lewis Realty and the house; will never use VRBO again after being charged hundreds of dollars by them because I clicked on their ad for the property instead of looking a bit deeper and realizing it was actually represented by Lewis. VRBO passes your “booking” on to Lewis, who take care of everything. I have used VRBO in the past; never again.

Topsail and Barnacle - The perfect vacation!

This was our first time at topsail Beach and we absolutely loved it. The house was perfect. Enough space to spread out, great for both the kids and adults and amazing outdoor space. Could not have asked for anything more!

3 Generations and dogs

The home had so much charm and the patio was amazing for morning coffee, a break from the sun and evening chats. Great location on quiet beach (I enjoyed Topsail compared to our last Visit to area in north topsail). So much room to spread out and house had everything we needed

Thanksgiving

This was our 5th year celebrating Thanksgiving on Topsail and our 4th visit to the Barnacle. We love it there and always feel at home. Cannot wait to return!

Great outdoor space

The house is in a great location to get away from it all. Lots of living space and the kitchen is very well appointed. But the best thing is the deck. It has several options for relaxing and enjoying the ocean view. This is our second time at this property.

The perfect deck with a perfect view

Home is directly on the beach and has a wonderful deck for everyone’s enjoyment including your pups! Gates help to minimize escape artist dogs.. could use lattice behind bench’s to further assist in escape artists and toys.. Kitchen is well stocked with exception of a colander. Plenty of room for a large family gathering. Our only issue was the cleaning prior to our arrival due to the staff having minimal time in the property due to other properties being done prior to ours.. the rental agent worked with us on this. Again the selling point on this property is it’s quiet location and outdoor living space.

Best deck on the beach

This house was great for our family gathering. Big and welcoming, and a wonderful deck that spoiled us. Our only complaints were that it wasn't very clean -- didn't seem to have been vacuumed or dusted, for example -- and that the basement room was pretty musty, which made it hard for several folks to sleep in.

Great beachfront location

The location of the property was just as expected and really terrific. Everyday we had tons of beachfront all to ourselves, not too close to public beach access and close enough to walk to the pier. As indicated by the pictures, the deck is a great place to lounge and the house (kitchen) was well equipped. The twin bedroom location does require a better description. Its access from the basement isolates it from the main house and our kids didn't want to stay there. Fortunately the house was spacious enough to make room elsewhere. Our only major complaint was cleanliness of the kitchen. We cleaned this ourselves because we were not patient enough to call/complain and have someone come address the issue and needed to unload groceries. A deep clean of this older home would be a good investment, but did not effect our stay and enjoyment. We're confident if we had let the rental company know our concerns, it would have been addressed - they were very gracious in notifying us of the property's early availability when we arrived.

Christmas on the beach

The 9 of us had a fantastic holiday at the beach. The house was perfect for our large family! Spacious, comfortable and everything you need to have a relaxing week. Stocked kitchen with everything you need to make a big family meal. Perfect way to spend the holiday together with family! Thank you!

Barnacle Review

The location of this property is perfect, gorgeous beach and traditional beach house. We had a great stay! Just a few recommendations we would make: The cleaning crew could do a better job before guests arrive. We didn't have any major issues so we didn't complain or call the rental company. The twin bedroom location could be described in a bit more detail. Otherwise, great stay and would recommend!
