On Lake Time is in a private enclave of log homes on tranquil Goshorn Lake in Saugatuck, Michigan. This cozy log cabin is truly the best of all worlds, offering a quiet nature escape with all the luxuries of home and a vibrant community just minutes away.

Spread over 3 floors, you’ll find 4 spacious bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms along with comfortable furniture, stylish décor and the luxurious amenities that will make your trip special. It’s these little things that make our home feel like an escape from the ordinary - deep soaking tub in the master bath, backyard fire pit, outdoor hot tub, wet bar on the lower level and a cozy gas fireplace.

And the fact that you’re just steps from a peaceful, inland lake makes this a truly perfect vacation destination. Lake Goshorn is a no-wake lake, so it’s ideal for swimming, fishing, kayaking/canoeing or just enjoying the quiet of nature with a good book or picnic. The small dock and beach area are exclusively available to other Hidden Dunes owners and guests, so it’s great for small children or anyone who wants to avoid the crowds.

Want to venture out for exploration and adventure? There’s a huge variety of outdoor activities and cultural offerings in the Saugatuck-Douglas area to keep you busy in all seasons.

| SECOND FLOOR | Large bathroom with separate soaking tub and shower, huge master bedroom with king-size bed & sitting area, and a queen bedroom.

| LOWER LEVEL | Queen-sized Murphy bed, full bathroom with tub/shower combo, family room with a 65” surround sound TV, and a wet bar with fridge.

*There are televisions with cable in all 4 bedrooms and living room and new, high-end mattresses and bedding in each bedroom.

On Lake Time ticks all the boxes for any kind of vacation you need. Whether you’re after a relaxing and romantic getaway or an active trip with the kiddos, this is the perfect home base. Hot tub was a bonus, however, having scramble at 1:00 am to make sure the used towels were washed, dried and put away was a bit much. Also, sadly the fireplace did not work. It would not light. One reason we take a fall trip is for a cozy fireplace night to sit around and chat. That was a fail for sure! The exit rules were also a bit much, lots had to be done to check out. We followed the "rules" and were respectful and responsible. Othewise the place was very nice and comfortable.

Cabin was clean and comfortable. Great location. Host provided clear instructions for using appliances and IT in the cabin.Only concern about the property was loose stairs between the first and second floors. Check out clean up required by the host was challenging for us as a family with multiple small children but would likely be easier for an older group.

I traveled with hubby, sister & my elderly parents for a long weekend and to attend a wedding reception. The cabin was absolutely perfect. Everyone had a quiet & comfortable space of their own. We could have definitely had more people due to the spacious accommodations. .The setting is such so that you want to sit out on the front porch or back screened in porch (or fire pit area) and just enjoy the beautiful surroundings, trees & birds or walk down to the lake. We also spent a lot of time cozying up on the sofa or reclining chairs or simply around the dining room table.It gets dark at night (we found out when returning from dinner night one) and the path to the front door from the parking space is not lighted and we had not thought to at least leave the porch light on. Some solar pathway lights would have worked, but we used our phone flashlights to make sure our parents didn't trip while traversing the path.Thoughtful cabinet of essential spices, salt, pepper, etc. was very welcome.Would definitely return here & being that we have family in Holland, this will be where I want to stay when visiting.

Great log cabin near Goshorn Lake

Easy check-in, great owner. It’s a nice walkable distance into downtown Saugatuck, or hit the highway and head up to Holland. The home is well furnished and super clean. We really enjoyed our stay!

Nice family getaway

The cabin was a perfect size for our 6 person group, our 2 young children enjoyed the beach and it was great to have access to the no wake lake. The check-in/check-out process was very smooth. My only mild criticism is that the beach is a bit further away than the 1 minute walk advertised, but it's probably 2 minutes (unless you have toddlers in which case it's 5-10).

Wonderful home in a quiet, lovely neighborhood. About 1/8 mile walk to Goshorn lake, which is refreshing and great for swimming. Walkable to Dune Rides and ice cream. 1/4 mile from the Beeline trail that is perfect to ride bikes to Saugatuck Dunes State Park or all the way to Holland or the other way for a short ride into Saugatuck. The house has a great layout with surprisingly upscale and comfortable furniture (no cheap Wayfair filler you usually find in short term rentals). The outside has a lovely front porch and screened in back porch with a hot tub and great table to eat or play games. The back patio with grill and fire pit is very nice, but needs some attention. The grill is useable but in poor condition and the fire pit and back area needs a good cleaning. All in all a very enjoyable experience and we would not hesitate to rent again.

A hidden retreat

The cabin was decorated so perfectly. The beds were very comfortable and really felt very relaxing there. We enjoyed our stay. Tom was extremely organized with all of his instructions. You could tell he really has pride in ownership. Lovely house!

Calm, Peaceful, and Untroubled; Tranquil

First impression of the property is that of Fried Green Tomatoes. Dusky, hidden, eternal. Step in and the darkness envelops you. Switch on a light and there is just enough warm golden light to see. Off-putting, at first; then you settle in and realize the interior is free of dust, insulated from the world. This is Marriott Resort quality. NOTE: Ask for the HOA sheet early on. The steps are a little wonky but you get used to it. This is a top drawer experience. The bathrooms are very well appointed and spacious. Bamboo pillows and a high end mattress. The spice rack in the kitchen rivals ours, at home. The entire building is made of wood, no plastics, no metals. Just gorgeous knotty exposed wood. Whatever time you plan - double it....

Amazing place

An absolutely amazing place to stay. Beautiful cabin, very clean, comfortable beds and lots of space.Tom was great to work. Our only regret is not having more time to stay. We will definitely book again when visiting that area.
