This historic home is in the epicenter of everything going on in downtown Holland.

From the front porch you can overlook the farmer’s market every Wednesday and Saturday. Turning to the right you can see Hopcat, the new movie theater, and several other brand new shops, breweries, and restaurants all within a few steps.

Extra cleaning procedures with antibacterial cleaning products have been added due to COVID-19.

A Charming Home With An Awesome Location
We stayed at this location during our family trip to Holland and it was an awesome experience! First of all, the communication was great. When we got there, we had already received all of the information we needed from Seth and everything was ready to go. Everything was so organized and and it was such a relief to not worry about anything other than having fun. We also had some questions and Seth was very quick to respond, which was super helpful! The house was older, but was updated and was nice and clean. All of the amenities were graciously provided and there were two bedrooms, which was great with our young kids. The location was also amazing. We could walk with our kids into town for ice cream, candle making, lunch, dinner, breweries, candy shops, souvenirs, etc. It was all so close! The Civic Center is also right across the street and they host all types of events. I was constantly looking on my phone inquiring about a crowd forming over there and we actually walked across and joined some events. Most notably, there were street performers one of the nights and there was a block party with food trucks, games, free ice cream, etc. literally right across the street! So perfect. The location did lead to a lot of noise though, just as a caution to light sleepers. Not a problem, just a note! We were also only a short drive from both Windmill Island and the beach! Overall, it was a great experience and we will be back next time we'll be back next time we're in Holland!

Great Location near downtown
This is an older house that has been recently renovated for VRBO users. There was plenty seating in the dining room and living room for 6 people. It was an excellent location to be able to walk downtown to shops and the amazing farmer's market. Being an older house, you do hear traffic noise. The air conditioning could not keep the unit cool. Upstairs is also a rental unit and you can definitely hear walking. Communication was great. We had no difficulties with arrival and departure. The TV was nice and large. The beds in the second bedroom had soft mattresses. I would recommend getting ceiling fans and more light fixtures for rooms.The kitchen has minimal pots and pans. There were no butter knives to be found and just a small cutting board. The refrigerator did not have an ice machine. The shower was small but had a nice shower head and water stream. It was a nice fit for our cousin berry picking, shopping and wine tasting weekend away.

Perfect Location!
We enjoyed our stay at this property. We were in town for a family wedding and was out and about mostly. The house is older but was clean, and furnished nicely. It sits just a short block from the Farmer’s Market and walking distance to downtown. Seth was a perfect host and gave us recommendations for a special event downtown one evening. Amenities were great! Thanks, Seth!

Good experience, with poor communication
We have never used VRBO before and with two couples going we thought we would give it a try. We found this house and booked it even though there was a zero refund cancellation policy with 100% payment upfront at time of booking. I'll first state that I'm very big on communication. We had communication a couple times with the property manager/owner prior to check-in with the understanding of having access information by check-in (which is 4 PM). I hadn't heard anything from the owner by 4:30 so I started trying to contact and get information via the VRBO messaging system with no response, then made several phone calls leaving messages, still no response. Finally, 4 plus hours later (after 8:30) we get the information and messages from the owner saying there must have been a glitch in the VRBO messaging system. He was very helpful at that point and offered to help out in any way he could. Just a few things about the property that we had wished we knew going into it... 1) this house has two units, one on the 2nd floor and one on the main floor (the upstairs unit's ad specifies this which I read after we booked), but the lower level ad doesn’t. 2) there are 2 bathrooms, but only one shower. Being two couples we made it work, but it took longer to get ready than we would have liked. 3) I'm a rather big guy and the shower was small (maybe 30" x 30") so that was combersome for me. 4) There is A/C but it is rather inefficient. We bought fans to aid in keeping cool.

Clean, basic, incredible location!
We had a terrific stay at the rental. It was basic but really really clean, had everything we could need for a short stay, and had tons of charm (and power outlets!) It was simple to gain entry at check in, and parking was explained well. This beautiful historic home was a quick few blocks to anything you could wish to see or do in downtown Holland, and a short drive to the beaches. Only possible downside was it was a high traffic corner, so if you’re a light sleeper it may be a bit noisy. It made no impact on us city-dwellers. The beds were super comfy, with nice linens and a few throws for watching movies. We didn’t cook, but saw there was plenty of cooking utensils, plates, glasses, etc. the half bath was a plus for our party of four. And the shower, although a tight squeeze in a square standing stall was clean and had wonderful pressure through the rain shower head. We would happily return, and would recommend to others.

Weekend Visit
This house is located closeto downtown. Just across from where the local farmers market is hosted. We utilized all the sleeping space and appreciated having multiple tvs.
