The chalet is located at an altitude of 1,274 metres, amid the majestic peaks and pristine nature of the Niedere Tauern, in Styria's Murtal holiday region. Here you will experience a unique combination of peace, nature and adventure all year round.

The ski resort Ski Hohentauern, with 11 kilometers of perfectly groomed slopes, is literally around the corner - the ski lift is less than 200 meters from the chalet! From wide, sunny runs to challenging deep-snow routes, every skier will find their challenge here. Nearby ski resorts Kreischberg/Murau (42 km of slopes) and Lachtal (36 km of slopes) are also highly recommended, and the family-friendly Kaiserau in Admont is perfect for beginners. Cross-country skiers enjoy 18 kilometers of trails in Hohentauern that wind through the beautiful winter landscape.

In summer, the Murtal holiday region invites you on endless hikes, mountain bike tours and cycling routes through mountain meadows and along babbling brooks. Relax on the shores of the idyllic bathing lakes Gaishorn am See and Wald am Schoberpass, or treat yourself to a wellness day at the AQUALUX Therme in Fohnsdorf or the Grimming Therme in Bad Mitterndorf. Motor sport enthusiasts are in for a treat: the legendary Red Bull Ring in Spielberg is just 35 kilometers away.
