"Clean spacious flat although it's on a very busy main road. We booked it because of the garden but it was unusable because it was totally overgrown so nowhere to sit or stand. Another point I would like to make is that for safety we think there should be a hand rail on the stairs as they are quite steep and there is nothing to hold on to. Location is central to going places in the area."

"No checking in service at all. No prior instructions were given. We were helped into our apartment by the lady who owns the jewellers downstairs. We were woken at 6.45am on a Sunday to the sound of scaffolders and a traffic management company setting up to commence install scaffolding at 7am on the building we are in with no prior communication from the host this would be happening otherwise I wouldn't have booked there. By 8am there was a workman outside my first floor bedroom window so I had...

"All I can say about the property is that it was clean. The owner did repair the loose toilet seat, replace the dead smoke alarm battery, and bring more crockery fairly quickly after I complained. But the listing description was woefully inaccurate and certainly didn't mention the patched and mended state of most rooms. This is not a 10* 'excellent' property. Far from it. If it had been accurately listed (and priced accordingly) then that's fair enough, but I was expecting a much higher standard...
