Cozy inn, delicious meals (venison from the estate, for instance), lots of personality. We loved staying here, and fishing with Ian, the "ghillie" who put me onto a beautiful sea trout and taught me how to cast a spey rod. "

"So enjoyed our stay at Parklands & the easy access to the train station. We loved the gardens in the front and the easy walking to the park and River Tay Walkway.. "

"Was a clean and comfy room for our overnight stay. Only fault I could see is no bar fridge in room. Other than that it was great!"

"Lovely property, excellent service, and marvelous food. The bartender said he didn’t really know cocktails which was a bit surprising and a tad disappointing. Would have loved to go stalking but discovered we had to reserve that in advance. Will know next time."

"Just a one night stay on our way up north . It’s an old building so no lift but full of character . I’m the carers for my brother who is traveling with me & the hotel made sure that we had rooms next to each other . The rooms are ok , comfortable beds , nice ensuite bathroom but obviously as it’s an older building they aren’t like a travel inn. The breakfast was excellent & as a vegan the staff went out if their way to make sure that I had a good breakfast that I could eat . My brother...

"We enjoyed our stay at the Victoria Hotel. Great location central very close to the Jahangir indian restaurant we had booked a meal at. Very clean room, comfy bed, nice shower with shampoo, conditioner and shower gel provided. A nice trolley was in room with coffe, tea facilities and jelly beans and biscuits. "The Royal Dunkeld Hotel wins hands down for the helpfulness and kindness of its staff. There are choices in stunning Dunkeld but the service here has been outstanding. I have been upgraded, offered a function room for a meeting, and have extended my stay here because of it."
