"We had a very warm welcome from the friendly staff and were shown to the room which was clean and bright. The food that evening was excellent, and as it was a warm evening we spent a pleasant time sitting outside with our drinks afterwards. Continental breakfast was served promptly at 8 am and the addition of fresh strawberries and blueberries was a definite plus! Check in / check out was swift and efficient. "I was unfortunately in an incredibly warm room (in part due to weather, but also the orientation which meant it got the full evening sun and no breeze) - this was room 104. The room was a decent size and reasonably clean, but given the weather, which is it being made up with a duvet and no sheet underneath (between that and the bed). The bathroom had cracked floor tiles which were very uneven with sharp edges and there was toothpaste marks splashed all over the wall by the sink, which means...

"Nice, spacious room, fully equipped and lovely walk-in shower. Free parking with plenty of spaces. No restaurant for evening meals but the HI next door offers dining for International guests. Breakfast lived up to it's promise as complimentary "continental" but it also had a very limited hot buffet which ran out of eggs and took over ten minutes to replenish."
