Stunning Lakefront Beach House

Driving down serene W. Beach you'll feel the excitement mount as you enjoy the tree lined street with Lake Ontario to your right. As you pull in the driveway you'll realize why you booked our house as you can see the lake through the front bay window.

Enter the mud room and through the new kitchen you'll see a wall of windows that prominently feature the lake. When frozen, it looks like you can walk to Canada. You cannot. During the summer months it looks like you can swim across. You cannot as it's 32 miles across and sometimes when the moon is full, the night is clear you might see the reflection of Canadian shoreline lights on the water. When a storm rolls in it’s absolutely beautiful watching the rolling waves and lightening on the horizon!

Come out the back sliding glass door and there's a great 6 person hot tub with two loungers and an ice chest beckoning you. But first you might want to feel the beach between your toes. Please wash your feet off before going in the hot tub or house.

In winter months we love doing snow angels.

In Summer months you can usually walk out 50 to 100 feet into the lake and only be up to your knees. Typically all sand bottom. Put a chair in the lake and watch the gorgeous sunset.

During summer there's a gas grill for cookouts.

Come back in and upstairs you'll find the Master bedroom. Stunning sunrises abound from your comfy king bed or out on the deck.

The 2 other bedrooms look out over the marsh.

This special place has been in our family since 1946. Please take good care of it and enjoy.

A little piece of heaven.

This home is really beautiful, overlooking Lake Ontario. We loved the waves crashing on the rocks as we rested at night. House is well stocked and beds are very comfy with quality linens. Our grown up kids enjoyed the hot tub which was nice to have. We loved the little beach and our dog had a great time playing in the sand. There are plenty of couches making for a very relaxing time.Overall a lovely experience and will definitely return. Thank you Lisa and Dennis for sharing your "Happy Place".Ann & Frank Kyne. atatnight nnight.

Adorable Lake House

I have only positive things to say about this home. From the beginning our experience with this host/home was great, the hosts are quick to respond to messages and the check-in process was very easy. The home is beautiful, you can tell that it is very well loved and taken care of. The pictures provided don't even do the home and all of the views justice. The view out to the lake as soon as you walk in was amazing and it just got better as you move upstairs into the main bedroom. The house is stocked with many amenities and everything was clearly spelled out in the manual as far as how to use everything easily. We can't wait to come back and experience this home during some warm weather!

Adorable lake house - clean and gorgeous!

Very, very nice property! Quiet street, right along Lake Ontario. Beautiful deck, pretty lawn, picnic spot and great beach access, big, bright rooms, and a lovely fireplace in the living room. Owners seem like great people. Will definitely be staying again!

Almost too nice

A great location and a very nice house. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. During my stay the weather was not conducive to spending time in the backyard or on the beach. My only moderating thought was that the living spaces were too light colored and I was concerned about spills and such.

Great Getaway!

The house was clean, the amenities were useful, and we had a great time. The yard had just been plugged with grass and so that combined with all the bugs a quick glance made it seem like the yard was covered in dog poop. Obviously that was not the case but it took a while to be comfortable walking there. The hot tub was a bit tricky to figure out, but we did it eventually. More clear instructions could be helpful. The oven also smelled of baked on oil so be aware of that. In terms of clarity, the lockbox situation (given that there are two) was not super clear and I did break a nail trying to figure it out. None of this would ever stop us from visiting again. It truly was perfect for a friend vacation.

Perfection

I came home with my family for my niece's wedding. Couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to stay. Having such a serene setting certainly made our weekend one to remember. Beds were super comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. remember.

Wonderful, lovely lakeside property!

We were in town for our son's graduation and decided to rent lakeside on Lake Ontario. The property was about 25 minutes from the University of Rochester and quite easy to find with any map program. Beautiful, quiet property with a nice beach in front. The hosts were easy to contact and had recommendations for dining and grocery that we used. Living room, family room, kitchen and a half bath down; 3 large bedroom with a large bath that included a tub/shower and a separate shower upstairs. The main bedroom has two large mirrored closets and a private deck with a sliding glass door, great airflow. There was a 65 inch UHD Samsung TV in the family room on the water. There was also a free standing gas stove that we took advantage of one evening. Washer and dryer on premises also, many towels and paper supplies in closets. All our family enjoyed the property and the incredible views on the lake.
