Wonderfully Updated Two Bedroom Villa Close to Pool and Beach!

  • You'll be glad you chose this wonderful two bedroom villa with its newly updated kitchen, flooring, mattresses, bedding and furniture! The flooring has been updated throughout the entire villa. The mattresses in both the primary and guest bedrooms are new along with all bedding.

    The newly updated kitchen includes custom cabinetry, stainless steel appliances and stone countertops. The kitchen will be fully-equipped upon your arrival with everything necessary to prepare a home cooked meal for the whole family!

    The dining area comfortably seats six guests, while another three guests can sit at the kitchen island/pass-through as well. Beside the dining area is a door which leads to the large screened-in deck area which overlooks a large swath of Palmetto Dunes' 11-mile lagoon system! A outdoor dining table is provided for your enjoyment of this wonderful view.

    The living room furniture is new and adjacent to the kitchen and dining areas. Lovely features such as a new couch and love seat make enjoying the wall-mounted Smart TV a pleasure. There is a side door here that takes you to the side deck and grill area as well as the lagoon.

    Behind the kitchen is the primary bedroom with a king size bed, HDTV and a large en-suite primary bathroom. The mattress and bedding are new! The en-suite primary bathroom consists of a large walk-in shower and a granite-topped two sink vanity.

    On the other side of the villa is the guest bedroom with its two double size beds, HDTV. Just down the hallway is the guest bathroom which consists of a tub and shower combination and its own granite topped one sink vanity.

    The pool and hot tub are located just across the parking area for easy access. The Atlantic Ocean is just across the street and a couple minute walk away!

Hilton Head Huntington Area

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Huntington area was a great place for a family vacation. The location is close to the beach with a short hike from any of the Huntington buildings. I was disappointed in the condition of our condominium. The furniture was terrible with several broken chairs in the dining room and old outdated couches and chairs. The floor was an old carpet that always felt dirty. The walls were in desperate need of some fresh paint as there were scuffs and marks throughout the house. I would not stay in this location again although we did have a much nicer unit last year. We were hoping for a similar experience but Palmetto Dunes doesn't seem to hold all their units to the same standards. I called to complain and they gave me a $75 gift certificate but for $4,000 I would have rather just had a nicer unit.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The vacation rental was in a great location, easily accessible to the beach, Lava gym, local eateries, golf courses, and stores. It was comfortable and well-equipped with necessities for short—or long-term rentals. The rental was clean and very comfortable. Our stay was in October, and the weather was nice enough to ride bikes on the beach. The property is well maintained and quiet. We did have an issue with main suite shower. Water leaked from the shower if the shower head was centered and not shifted to the left. The staff was professional, listened to our concerns about the shower, and assured us it would be fixed. Overall, we would return and consider Palmetto Dunes an excellent vacation place.

Although it’s located in a nice area, didn’t know the neighboring villa’s tenants would be above my head. Stomping noises all day. I wouldn’t have picked this villa, had I known. Best part is the peace outside in either patio.

The alligator paid a visit a couple of the lagoon....not the condo! The condo itself is so comfortable. Nice and quiet. Very clean. We will definitely be booking this location again. We are golfers and the location of the courses to the condo were within 3-5 minutes. Arthur Hills is about a 1 minute drive! Thanks so much for a beautiful week in your beautiful condo.

That is the problem. We probably will not be back due to the price and find other options.

Plenty of activities in Palmetto Dunes, as well as in neighboring Shelter Cove Harbor & Marina. The bad news was that the two porches for this villa were filthy dirty and hadn't been scrubbed in a long, long time. This spoiled our use of them and sitting out to enjoy the picturesque view of the lagoon in back of the villa. When were they cleaned last...beginning of the summer??

It’s much larger and roomier than the pictures show. We loved how close to the beach it was and the lagoon provided a great atmosphere. Only complaint was that it didn’t feel clean at all, specifically the bathrooms. There were hairs and other “things” that weren’t ours all over the floors and in the linens. We were also rushed out the day we left. We were supposed to have til 10 and the cleaning staff showed up at 8 and kept pestering us to come in. I have young children and needed the time and didn’t appreciate the added stress.

The Resort’s location also gives easy access to the many excellent restaurants and activities Hilton Head has.
