Treetop Cottage in the Heart of Harbourtown with views of Calibogue Cay!

  • This unique treetop cottage has spectacular views of The Calibogue Cay and is just a short walk to Harbourtown’s shops and restaurants. Ten steps take you up to the first level deck where you will find an outdoor eating area with a gas grill. Ten more steps bring you to the second level deck with a café style table for two and the entrance of this modernly decorated property. This 2-bedroom, 2 bath villa will delight your senses with 360-degree views of the water and beautiful foliage indigenous to Hilton Head Island and South Carolina. Enjoy a cup of coffee or an evening cocktail from the deck, living room or kitchen while watching boats, kayakers and paddle boarders sail by on The Cay. The living area has leather sofas with a large TV and an eat-in kitchen complete with stainless steel appliances, stone counter tops and fully stocked cabinets for four. The master bedroom has a queen bed with a TV and ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower. The guest room has two twin beds, TV, and uses the hall bathroom with a walk-in shower. Each bedroom has black-out shades so, sleep will come easy in these cozy rooms. The living area has privacy shades that will not obstruct the view from the inside but will keep things private when desired.

    **Please be advised there is very limited parking at the Sea Pines Beach Club March 23-September 2nd from the hours of 9am to 5pm. 50 parking places are available on a first come- first serve basis. | A Free beach shuttle service is offered for beach access – refer to your property information for parking lot locations.

My husband and I loved this place! Though it was small, it was perfect for the two of us. The house was clean and the kitchen was well stocked in terms of dishes, utensils, glasses, etc. The best part of the house were the views! Simply unbeatable! Every morning we had coffee on the deck and watched the dolphins swimming and every night we were treated to amazing sunsets. The only thing negative thing is that the pillows were not comfortable, but thats certainly minor. We would definitely rent here again.

Fantastic stay

Our stay in Sealoft 2021 was fantastic! Can't beat the view of Calibogue Sound and excellent location tucked away on Deer Island. The sealoft was well appointed with nice kitchen and baths and had everything we needed! We plan to book our stay here again next summer! Thank you!

Property is great, as described, and in some ways, even better! Check in process was seamless. Place was absolutely clean. Kitchen is adequately equipped for the stay. Views are fabulous, with deer near the deck and dolphins and birds in the water. Sunsets are spectacular. Decks were perfect for yoga and other activities! Easy access to Harbor Town, and CQs ( do eat there!). Take a kayak trip from Harbor Town with H2O Sports and see the unit from the Sound! We are regular at Sea Pines: this place is high on the list of places we have stayed, on the island!

We discovered Deer Island last year during a visit to Hilton Head so was super happy to find this unit with pristine views! The unit was very clean, the kitchen is well equipped (we cooked each day due to COVID) and we appreciated the black out shades to allow for a better night’s sleep. We booked again for May we enjoyed it so much!

Perfect Location

Property is within a 2 minute walk to Harbour Town and set about 100 yards off the bank of the Calibogue. Sunsets are beautiful to watch from the upper deck. I understand why it’s called Deer Island as we had furry friends around the property a few times. The inside decor is very nice and the showers even better! I would 100% recommend this property.

Met our expectations. Enjoyed very much.

Very pleased with this house. Loved the location and views. Everything mostly functioned well in the house - appliances, AC, internet, etc. Very minor maintenance: bottom rack of DW goes off track, hedges could be trimmed back from the driveway a bit - brushing against the car. House was nicely stocked with kitchen utensils and other handy items, etc. Thank you, we'd love to come again.

July 2020 Stay

This rotunda-style villa provides lovely views of the sound and the wooded lot. The view of Calibogue Sound never got old. We observed lots of wildlife, including raccoons and deer. The modernized home was clean, the kitchen was well-stocked (there was a pitcher lid, but no pitcher for iced tea, etc.) , and the master bed was comfortable. Everything was in working order - A/C, fridge, oven, W/D, etc. We enjoyed daily time on the deck. The den furniture for sitting consists of two love seats, which weren't comfortable to us. They're not deep and not roomy, especially for four people. The only suggestion we would make would be to switch to a comfy full size sofa and a couple of chairs. Along with the many outdoor pursuits on HHI, it's also nice to relax in a cushy den with a book or movie, especially when the heat index is 102°. Overall, we enjoyed staying in this home and recommend it.

Love the Sealofts

We specifically wanted to stay in a Sealoft and found this website that had various sealofts available. Making the reservation and paying online was very easy even though they don't take AMEX. Everything was done by text and email which went off without a hitch. Will be back next year.

Beautiful place!

This was a beautiful place with a gorgeous view. Very nicely appointed. The property is a 5 minute walk in to Harbor Town and very close to the bike trails. We really enjoyed our stay!

Treehouse experience

Expansive water views plus living up amongst the trees makes this Sealoft ideal for any nature lover. The only downside is access to the beach on the ocean side is becoming limited with fees and no parking for Sea Pines guests who are renting.

We absolutely loved our stay! The house was beautiful, clean and comfortable. The sunsets from the deck ( and the living room) were amazing. We watched dolphins every day from the deck! The owners and the rental company were very accommodating and helpful.
