Private pool, spacious open floor, and more!

This lovely Hilton Head Island vacation rental is within a ten minute walk to the beach. It features an open layout with two master suites and a private pool. As you walk into the front door, you are greeted by an open floor plan which consists of a large dining room, living area, and newly updated kitchen. The large bar top provides additional seating for everyone to convene in the kitchen while enjoying a home cooked meal, with an adjacent dining area providing seating for eight.

The primary suite has a king bed, a flat screen TV, and an en-suite bathroom with a large jetted garden tub and stand alone shower overlooking the newly landscaped pool. The second bedroom has a king bed, queen sleeper sofa, a flat screen TV and an en-suite bathroom. The third bedroom has a queen bed, TV, and an en-suite bathroom. The fourth bedroom has two double beds, TV, and an en-suite bathroom.

Pool heat is not available with this home.

not a great vacation - had to deal with mice and poop

We had to deal with a mouse problem for most of our week long visit. Mice in the kitchen, den, eating area, and outside the three bedroom doors upstairs. Exterminator was there daily to empty traps. Housekeeping called in several times to reclean. On a positive note - the ladies at the PD front desk were very helpful and kept me informed as remediation was underway. The exterminator was top notch as was housekeeping. The Revenue Manager, Brandi Darbonnier, was understanding as well. Mice could happen to any guest at any time. PD handed the situation well, and yes we will rent from PD again, but not this particular property !

The location and home are perfect for the four men we had to relax in comfort after golfing. Clean convenient and spacious enough for us. Great home.

Great house and location

I was a little concerned prior to our trip because of 2 recent reviews about the cleanliness of the property and I didn't get a response when I messaged the owner about that concern. That being said, the house was great and we loved the location. It does show some wear and tear (hey its a rental), but it is a lovely home, close to the beach, and it met our expectations for cleanliness. We will definitely consider staying there again.

2021 Family Vacation

First I want to mentioned that we (family) have been going to Hilton Head Island for the last 20 years. This is the third year in a row that we have rented a house. All three were in Palmetto Dunes, just a block from each other. I would say this home had a few more cons then the homes the prior two years. The AC units were great so we were very comfortable. The property in our view is just a bit run down, could use some sprucing up. Also some updating of mattresses, pillows, etc. We are not looking for a rental home to be a 5 star hotel but compared to the last two homes we rented this one ranks a bit lower than those two.

This property was very dirty and worn. The floors were filthy. The carpet not vacuumed very well.

This property was dirty and worn. The floors were filthy and the carpets were dirty, stained and not vacuumed very well. The walls were dirty. We spent the first day cleaning and it still was worn. Has great potential but not a very nice vacation house. The couches were filthy as well with stains. We used towels to sit on the furniture.. The outside also had mold on the railings , steps. Not fun to spend our vacation cleaning before we can even start to relax. Very very disappointing.

Fall Break

The house was beautiful and worked very well for our large family. There report had plenty of activities for everyone and conveniently located to local shops, beaches and restaurants. Great Trip!

Nice house, not clean.

The house itself was very nice, roomy and nicely furnished and overall we enjoyed our stay. The problem was the house was not cleaned well before we arrived. The stove was dirty, there was mold in master shower, and only vacuuming that had occurred was where it was easy to reach. The pool area was clean when we arrived but with the many trees surrounding it that it quickly became dirty and was unusable but last 2 days as it was turning green.

Property was more than I expected, very accommodating.

Property was very clean and more than expected. Would definitely book again. Unfortunately, the only complaint I have is the pool was not cleaned when arrived. So therefore was not used at all.
