New Custom Built 6br. Pet Friendly and Gated home We decorate for the Holidays

#34 Firethorn Lane is a brand new home located in the beautiful S. Forest Beach area. Summer Breeze is a custom built 6bd / 6ba 3 -story open plan with elevator. This property is one of the only privately fenced Dog friendly homes in the area.
We are just a few minutes walk from our private entrance to the beach.
Your vacation begins with entering our private electric gate. You can easily park 4-5 cars including 2 inside the garage. Just back in and load the elevator to each floor for easy unloading and unpacking. Bringing in groceries is a breeze with the provided cart.
The property is surrounded by a custom designed fence to add to the surrounding beauty of the moss covered trees that gently sway in the summer breeze. The property is professional landscaped and lighted at night to enhance its beauty. The color changing heated pool, hot tub & pool deck was built so that everyone can easily see the huge flat screen TV on the back porch or just turn on the music. There is plenty of seating for everyone. As you scroll through our pictures you will see we have added many new amenities. For those long hot days on the beach, come back and open the retractable awning that drastically cools the air and provides shade over the entire pool and hot tub. Cook on our new custom made outdoor kitchen featuring the high quality BULL grill and burner for those low country boils. We have also just had a EV Charger installed for our electric car driving guests.
Inside the pool deck on the first floor is the large spacious game room with a brand new Ping Pong table, full size Foosball and a new state of the art, 4 player Air Hockey table. There is also a full size Refrigerator/Freezer for easy access to the pool. The game room/pool area has a bathroom and exterior shower.
Main Floor. Features 10ft ceilings and open plan. Large custom kitchen with gas range, dining area and main living room with color changing electric fireplace. Sliding doors open to expose the expansive screen porch with another 75 in TV and more dining seating. Master bedroom has a King Bed, 75" TV and master bath and also opens to the screen porch. The front of he house has a full size office/living area with sleeper sofa and full bath.
3rd Floor- 2nd Master Suite w king bed and full bath. 3rd bedroom -1 King Bed and full bath. 4th Bedroom- 2 Queens, Full Bath 5th Bedroom- 2 sets bunk Beds. 6th Bedroom Set of bunk beds and 1 twin. Also located on this floor is a washer dryer and wet bar with mini fridge, Keurig and coffee maker. Elevator centrally located on floor for easy access.

• Distance to Beach: 8 Minute Walk. 3 minute bike ride. 1 minute Golf Cart. There is ample parking under the canopy for golf carts on our private pathway to the beach.

• Pool Info: 33 feet long with an average width of 13 feet (freeform pool). The pool is able to be heated for an additional fee for stays falling between Labor Day through Memorial Day. $600 fee

• Fully Equipped Kitchen with Drip Coffee Maker & Keurig Coffee Machine. Ice maker at pool level & Fridge.

• Dog Friendly Home: Nonrefundable pet fee is an additional $200 per dog . If you plan on bringing your dog, please we ask that all guests pick up after their dogs

• Parking: There is parking available at the home for up to 4-5 cars. the driveway size.

• Square Footage: 5,078 total living area

• Please Note. Firethorn Lane has been renamed. If you google 34 Firethorn it will actually show you the newly named Firethorn Way. The town has renamed both streets and changed many house numbers due to new construction homes in our area.
VRBO has our marked correctly on there map. We are in the process of trying to get that resolved.

We had a wonderful Christmas with all of the grandchildren and family. The location was perfect. We enjoyed the game room and the pool. The walk to the shore was great. They were able to see a group of dolphins.

Beautiful home with so many wonderful amenities. The owners have thought of everything. Well stocked kitchen, wonderful outdoor porches, full length pool and hot tub. Watch tv from wherever you are inside and out. Very clean and beautiful. Had a wonderful time there.

My family of 16 just returned from a wonderful holiday week at Summer Breeze in Hilton Head. The house is beautiful and very comfortable. We appreciated the size of all the bedrooms and the number of bathrooms. The outdoor shower came in very handy after the pool or the beach. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and silverware for a family our size. Two full size refrigerators with ice makers was a bonus. Two separate laundry areas was also very convenient. Sandy was responsive when I had inquiries during our stay. The house is on a very quiet street with a short walk to the beach. Also very close to the bike paths.We loved our stay and hope to return again.

The house was beautiful but the cleaning company can do a much better job with cleaning. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with dinnerware. The game room and bathroom floors really needed mopping. The furniture down there needed dusting—there were spider webs in the bathroom and the corners of the basement. We didn’t use the outside kitchen because there was rust and the grills weren’t clean. The wood railing around the outdoor screened porch needed to be clean. The kitchen sponge was really smelly (I wanted to throw it away but it was not mine to do so). The private entry to the beach is about a 1/2 block away and was great. The deer were plentiful in the evening when we walked to the beach. There were 2 beach towels missing so be sure to count and report so that you don’t get charged 50/per towel. Overall, the house was great for us to be able to have peace and quiet and then have fun together in the house. The area had a great vibe and we will be back to enjoy the cultural history and festival that took place on St. Helena Island.

20 years of HHI

Lots of places in and outside to hang out and spread out. The pool awning was a bonus as was the outside kitchen.The fenced yard was a must for our dogs. We had to block the bottom of the gate with pool noodles because we have one small dog and one clever dog. We loved the yard for them and the huge screened in porch as well.The house was very clean, the beach towels were a bonus, the owner was prompt with responses and she fixed issues we had quickly. Some of us would rent again and some would spend less next year.If you want a well appointed, well stocked house and well stocked beach and pool supplies, you won't be disappointed.

Wonderful large beach house

We had a wonderful vacation — the home was even better than we expected from the pictures and listing, and was a great layout with space for a large extended family both indoors and out. Amazing House and Property!

This was our best vacation house in the last 6 years! This place is perfect for a large family, and we always bring our dog so the fenced in yard was awesome. The elevator was amazing for our mother-in-law who is partially handicap. We will try to book for next year as fast as possible!

Perfect for Families and Pets

Thank you for offering a beautiful home for us to rent. The design is amazing. Everyone can be together in the living, dining, and kitchen areas or else go off and relax quietly by themselves. By having the property totally fenced it was perfect for our dogs. The two block walk to the beach is easy and the canopy of mixed evergreens and deciduous trees on the way gracious. The beach is perfect. We’d love to rent another time in the future.

Everything was perfect!

We felt the property was actually even better in person than in the photos. Very clean and well decorated. Property manager/owner was very helpful and responsive – even while on their vacation. It was just my wife, brother-in-law, and myself but the owners spared no detail nor expense in making this an epic family vacation destination. We would definitely like to return to this property. Relaxing Week

We had a very relaxing week at this spacious home. It is beautifully decorated and well equipped. Having an upstairs washer and dryer, as well as downstairs, was really helpful. Probably our favorite place was the screen porch where we ate (10 at the table), read, and watched tv. The pool is a great size and the awning is helpful in late day sun and fun in the evening (lights hanging from it). The elevator is so helpful when carrying a load (be sure all 3 doors to the elevator are closed before you activate the floor call button). We brought extra dish towels and they were needed. We also brought a couple of coolers. There is one cooler to take to the beach but you may want more for beverages, as the lower level refrigerator was not cooling very well. The owner was responsive to questions. It's a little walk to the beach but you're rewarded with no crowds in that area!

Good property but some issues

It’s a spacious and beautiful beach home. We enjoyed our stay but not without frustrating issues. To begin, three of the beds didn’t have sheets. Two of the phone numbers provided did not work. The third one only took a message which was not responded to quickly. Also the ice makers on both fridges weren’t working - something the owners probably knew were issues because they had a countertop ice maker. However, it was loaded with mold. It wasn’t until Day 2 before we heard back from the owner. He came and worked on both fridges and took apart the countertop unit to get to all the mold. Neither ice maker on the fridges worked after he left. The owners never checked back. After the ground floor fridge quit cooling we called again and they were serviced the next day. It started working again before he got there. The service man who came the following day said that will happen on old units. The hand mixer furnished with the unit is burned out. The Tupperware is old with cracks in the bottom and some of the sides. When the owner came to work on the problems he entered without knocking - he may own the place but needs to respect the privacy of the renters. The air conditioners worked very well. Great pool cover. There are a ton of TVs and all large screen. The beach is a bit of a trek. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Family celebrations vacation

We had a wonderful stay at summer breeze it was absolutely everything we were expecting. Beautiful accommodations and location. We were able to enjoy other southern Cities with just a short day trip, and also enjoyed all that Hilton head has to offer. We did utilize the lovely well stocked kitchen with plenty of dishes for all of us, with the exception of large bowls and platters. Which is rather essential with a large group. There were plenty of beach and bath towels but only one kitchen towel and dish cloth. We did eat many meals in the house so that's why i mention this. The large tvs in many locations was great but several of them we were unable to work. Not a deal breaker for us because we were busy but if they are there they should be able to be used.other than that our stay was more than perfect for us. The owner was very accomodating when asked questions our information. If you are looking for a home to accommodate a large group look no further. Th elevator was a blessing for our family, with two handicapped daughters and it also makes bring luggage and groceries into the house so much easier. This owner thought of everything to make your stay here pleasant. The outside pool is beautiful and the table, bathroom and downstairs refrigerator makes it easy to spend the day enjoying the water. We would definitely recommend this lovely home.

Rocky start but all's well that ends well

We had some issues with checking in-partially due to the variety of forums the owner communicated with me....some on VRBO, some text, some email. So I was expecting information on the gate in one forum and it was in another. When I was delayed arriving, my family had no gate code and I had difficulty getting it directly from the owner by text.

Great House. Tons of Space. Awesome Location.

The property was lovely. Our crew of 15+ had plenty of space to move about and relax. The facilities were great, with two sets of washer/dryer sets coming in handy, along with plenty of refrigerator space on every level. Fully fenced with a gate, it was a perfect set up for our family with kids playing, swimming, and hot tubbing. Access to the beach and bike trails couldn't be more convenient, and proximity to Coligny was fantastic. Sandy was very responsive via the VRBO app.

Best place we’ve ever stayed!

8 adults and 5 children. EVERYONE could not get over how great this house is. It has everything. It’s beautiful inside and out. It’s immaculate. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots and pans, utensils, glassware, small appliances, SEASONINGS! Just read the listing and know it’s as good as it sounds. It was worth every penny. The kids are begging to stay here again in the future. The best way to describe it is that it was very well planned out.

Late Summer Vacation

I have stayed at house properties in Hilton Head, Orlando, Las Vegas, and Scottsdale and this house, by far, was the best ever !!! The kitchen-dinning-living room area is perfect for gathering while the screened in patio is huge and easily accessible off living area. The weather was great and we spent many hours at the pool - patio area. The beach is only an 8 minute walk and we were close to the golf courses and restaurants. Sandy and Steve were always available and helped with any questions we had. We are already planning on our return trip next year !

Great house within walking distance to beach.

The house was about 8-10 minute walk to beach and shopping. We had plenty of privacy and a great swimming pool with hot tub. The kids greatly enjoyed and hung out in the game room on bottom level. Everyone wants to come back!
