Tiny Condo, Great location

Condo location was great, but…No air conditioning in one of the rooms, 8th person slept on a mattress on the floor, Couches were dirty, master’s shower needs maintenance, elevators are so hot and slow. We removed some of the bedsheets to help with the cleaning up and found blood and urine stains on the mattresses. Sorry but I believe we can find better places to stay for the same rates. Will not stay on that resort again.

Could be great….

We’ve stayed at a few VRBO properties and every one has a binder with info about the area. Things to do, see, hotspots, and info you need to know about the property. This one did not and should have. We had to look through closets to figure things out. This is how we found they had beach chairs and boogie boards shoved away in a closet, a broken beach wagon (thankfully my husband was able to put a cheap fix in place so we could use it, though we still had to be very careful to keep it from breaking again while in use) and when we opened it, it was still full of sand and garbage from the people before us. There was no info on where to find the laundry rooms, just a sign on the ground level telling you what floors they were on in each building. On day 6 of 8 we called about renting a bike as there were bike rentals under our building. We found the bike rental company has a deal with this resort that you can get a bike rental for an entire week for just $40 per person. Again, would have been very helpful info to have that in the non existent binder. Other issues…..the “master” bath shower was running out of hot water very fast. Realized why on day 6. You have to turn the hot and cold water on and then there is another handle in the middle of the two that you turn to get the water to go from tub to shower. Once you did that, there was still a very steady stream of scalding hot water coming out of the tub nozzle. So as hot & cold water was coming out of the shower head, the rest of the hot water was pouring out of the tub nozzle. There was a strange brown splatter on that bathroom wall that looked like bug fecies. The bed in the “master” bedroom seemed like it was 20 plus years old. It was very springy and made noise every time someone moved so we were waking each other up all night. There were dirty dishes we found as we pulled them out to use them. A glass measuring cup felt like it had been used to measure oil and never cleaned and then dried on. Our GPS was bringing us in a back way that was blocked off so I went to the email from the mngmt company that said there were directions at the end of it. There were none. I called. The lady had no idea how to help us. We finally find it and there is an entry code in the email. Well there are 3 locks on the door. No direction as to which lock I use the code on or how to open the lock or lock it again when leaving. We would not use this mngmt company again.
