The location speaks for itself! Could not be any better!!! However, the air conditioning is still an issue. We did arrive in the middle of a July heat wave but the upstairs bedrooms were truly unbearable. We had multiple fans but they gave little reprieve. I’d stay here again but not in the summer months.

Not as pretty as it looks

Yes, the view is absolutely stunning. If I could have spent the entire trip on the patio this would be fine. But there were many things wrong inside, and after repeated calls to management, issues were ignored. TV in mAster bedroom was broken , somebody came by to try and fix it, but gave up and just left. Blinds in the master bedroom were broken, could not open at all, hence could not really use the balcony in the master, which was filthy anyway. Hard to appreciate a pretty view when you can’t open the blinds. Literally no lighting in the 2nd bedroom. Living room sofa needs to be thrown out…too disgusting to even sit on.

Absolute Perfection

We couldn't be happier with our stay. The location is supreme, the view is breath taking. We could've stayed at the property all day on our vacation and it would have been lovely. There were many discussions made that we will choose our vacation based on availability of this property because we had such a spectacular time looking out at the water.

Stay with a view only

Absolutely love the location and view, the place itself is less than expected. It does advertising amenities, but with a price you pay it should. The couch and beds need replaced not kid friendly or animals have to buy everything for the kitchen and coffee. Upstairs was hot.

Great view, but in major need of repairs

The property location and view are amazing for this property. However, the condition of the condo was in bad need of upgrades and repairs. When we first walked in after check in the first thing we saw was the half bath with a clogged toilet and wet towels all over the floor. When taking a shower in the second bathroom upstairs, it began to rain from the ceiling below getting water all over the dining room and floor. The shower pan quickly filled up with water and took forever to drain. You could clearly see old water damage on that ceiling below so this has been a problem for a while. The dining room table if you sat anything on it and bumped the table, it would knock over glasses and spilled drinks because it was so wobbly and needed tightening. The couch in the living room was covered with old stains, and was extremely dirty to the touch. The walls need repainted throughout. Almost every single wall has scuffs and scrapes all over them which I understand it’s a rental but looks really bad. Very disappointed with the state of the condo but glad it at least had an amazing view for our trip.

Enjoyed our stay

Property was just as advertised and we enjoyed our stay! The location is excellent - great view from the back patio and perfect if you want to shop or walk around the harbor. The unit was clean and comfortable.

The location was even better than we expected. The location is ideal!

We loved the view of the water. You did not have to sit there long to see dolphins. Located across the street from EVERYTHING needed - including the awesome free shuttle. We had to call customer service for help with WiFi and tv and the issue was resolved immediately. We’d stay here again.

Fell short on promised amenities

Positive comments: The property was in an excellent location, loved the beautiful sunsets and watching the dolphins just yards away. The villa was very clean. Negative comments: When we checked in we had no television or internet service. TV service was finally restored a few hours later but there was no internet service the entire week. The provider, Spectrum, sent a television technician two days after we arrived, I was instructed by Vacasa to call them myself and had to be there during the service call which disrupted our plans but he was a television technician and couldn’t fix the internet so he placed another ticket for 2 internet technicians who he said would come within 72 hours...never saw them or heard from them. I called the Vacasa office and left a message about it but never received a call back. The technician implied that this was a known issue and it wasn’t just our unit. I could understand if there had been an unavoidable incident or natural disaster but there wasn’t and since it was a known issue there was ample opportunity to have the service fixed/restored - either that or clearly state that there was no internet available. Wifi signal was strong which did no good whatsoever without internet service. Also there were no stoppers in the master bathroom sink or tub so taking a bath or drawing water in the sink were impossible.

Good location, but overall disappointing

The location being right next to Harbortown is fantastic, and at first glance the condo is beautiful. It stops there. The view is great, seeing dolphins every day and sunset every evening. BUT, the sheets were so old they needed to be replaced 3 years ago, the roaches in the dining room were crazy big, the balcony felt like it would crumble at any second. There is no "shared pool" in the complex as the listing states. We walked and drove around the complex looking for it for 20 minutes and finally called for the property manager to tell us that there isn't one, and that we had to purchase a pool pass from Sea Pines pool club and they would reimburse us for the cost. This pool club is most certainly "shared" with the rest of Hilton Head Island, not the condo complex. And it's a 10 minute drive from the condo. Not the biggest deal, but a drag when you just want a dip at the end of the day. Overall, misleading and disappointing. This condo is not on a beach that you can really swim or play on, either. You need to go to the public beach, by driving 15 minutes, parking, taking the trolly with all of your gear, etc. Location is great if you want to be by the lighthouse, but not at all what we expected or were looking forward to.

property not managed very well

horribly dirty carpet remnant in laundry area, majority of light switches either dont go anywhere or are crazy in what they actually turn on/off, garbage disposal is a health hazzard due to absence of rubber fitting at top of disposal which allows debris to be thrown up in face of occupant, NO information on how to operate any of the TV's or any of the appliances, patio furniture outdated and has no commonality, upstairs so hot that sleep is difficult,

Great Location, Condo needs a lot of maintenance

This property shows great in the pictures and the location is wonderful. It's a short walk to the activity of Hilton Head Harbour Town and has a great view of the Calibogue Sound where you can see dolphins swimming by almost every day. But we knew it wasn't all peaches and cream when we got to the front door and saw torn weather stripping hanging from the front door jam which was in dire need of painting and lockset hardware that should be replaced and gave concerns about security. Inside, many of the walls were scuffed and dirty and also in need of a painting. Several windows (including the master bedroom) were in terrible shape and in need of scrapping and painting. The drains in both the master bath and hall shower back up quickly leaving you standing in water during the shower. In the kitchen, there was no gasket in the disposal so using it causes bits of food and water to fly up to you. One truly dangerous issue was the rotted wood on the upstairs balcony railing which made it a hazard and unusable. One other thing we weren't happy with: a few days after booking and paying in full (non-refundable) through the VRBO site, we were sent a multi page, small print contract from Wyndham Vacation rentals (who manage the property), which we had to review and sign to complete the booking process (although we had already paid before being presented with the contract). This process should not be permitted by VRBO. The contract contains clauses authorizing Wyndham to charge the credit card you booked with in a variety of circumstances, giving you no control over the situation. After reviewing the contract I would have cancelled the rental if I felt I could get our non refundable full payment back. That said, Wyndham was responsive when we called to tell them the $10 toaster was arcing and burning the toast. They delivered a new $10 toaster the same day. And they did come to pick up the two dining room chairs that we discovered to be broken before anyone sat in them. Pre arrival cleaning, particularly in the kitchen, left a great deal to be desired. This could be a great rental if proper maintenance and cleaning were done and the normal VRBO transaction process were followed.

The condo was in need of some TLC The location was the best part, amazing views The condos air condo was not good, remarkably different upstairs-way too hot and it was set on the recommended setting. The door to the laundry wAs rusted, mold in the master bath shower, the drain in the tub/shower didn’t work/ you would be up to your Ankles before you were finished showering, The rug in the laundry room was disgusting . The neighbors next-door there were over six of them all smoked which made it difficult if not impossible to go outside on the back deck since the smoke was always coming in our direction not much privacy if there was somebody next-door. The day we arrived the tenets next-door informed us that they were going to be using the grill in our unit because they didn’t have one. This is all not the fault of the condo however I would not rent this condo again

Beautiful property, amazing location!!
