This completely renovated Palmetto Dunes villa is sure to make you feel right at home! Welcome to 89 The Moorings, featuring 2 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with enough room to host up to 8 guests very comfortably. Guests can enjoy the feel of brand new flooring, bathrooms, and furnishings to truly experience a luxurious beach vacation!

The great room is beautifully lit up with plenty of natural sunlight through the large windows of this cozy villa. In the living room, guests can enjoy plenty of plush seating and a brand new flatscreen TV for their entertainment. Take a step outside on either of the private balconies and let the relaxing landscape relax you. This makes for the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee or cocktail under the stars!

The kitchen is completely updated with top-of-the-line stainless steel appliances and stocked with everything you need and more- prepping snacks and cooking dinner for the family is a breeze here! There is seating for four at the formal dining table and two additional stools at the kitchen bar.

The bedrooms of this villa are on complete opposite sides, offering great separation and privacy for guests! The master bedroom is spacious and features a king-sized bed, a brand new flatscreen TV, a private balcony, and a large ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom features two queen-sized beds, a brand new flatscreen TV, a private balcony, and an ensuite bathroom.

We were very happy with our stay. The space was exactly as described, very spacious, and the location is unbeatable. I would absolutely stay here again.A couple of minor issues: I never received the “guestbook” email, so I had to reach out to Island Time for the pool bathroom door code. Without it, we weren’t even sure where the pool was at first. Also, the sliding doors to the balconies were extremely difficult to open, likely due to broken rollers. Maintenance was supposed to come by but unfortunately never did.

One of the best places we’ve stayed.

We’ve been going to HHI for years and always stay in Palmetto Dunes. This condo was so convenient. We were two minutes from the beach. Steps away from the pool and a 4 minute walk to pickle ball courts. We got a credit for bikes which took care a majority of the cost. It was just wonderful. We will be back.

Perfect location in Palmetto Dunes

This unit is located in a perfect location to walk to the beach. Just a few steps away from the path and the Dunes House, this unit was exactly what we wanted. My mother (82) and I (58) rented the unit and have enjoyed every minute. The recent updates in the kitchen and baths make the space perfect and user friendly. The kitchen is well appointed and the space well used. I will return to this unit and plan to be back next year during January.

Wonderful Stay

Perfect location in Palmetto Dunes

The condo was wonderful! Super spacious and certainly the most convenient we’ve ever had to the things we love to do in Palmetto Dunes. Everything was as described in the listing with the addition of lamps since pictures were taken. A previous review said there were none so we brought one but didn’t need it. Had a great time and would love to rent this unit again! Island Time staff were great to work with.

Great location for tennis and beach

We had a great time. The unit was clean, comfortable and very bright - lots of lights! It was well equipped if you wanted to cook meals. We didn’t really cook but was able to heat up leftovers. Location was a short walk to the beach and a short walk to the tennis courts - perfect! The only negative - was the somewhat confusing itemization of the charges. The total in the listing received from Island Time agency was different from what was listed on VRBO. Brenda from Island Time rental agency was very responsive to all my emails and helped me fully understand why there was a discrepancy. The difference was the addition of the extra fees if a credit card is used for payment. Bottom line - after all is said and done - we enjoyed our stay and are considering returning before the end of the year. Hope it is available!

Great Location!

We had a wonderful week in Hilton Head in the Moorings. Traveling as a family of 5 this condo was perfect with plenty of space!! My only suggestions would be: add hooks in the entry way and bathrooms for towels and suits, provide a vacuum for sand removal, include community pool in the guest book. We didn’t find the pool until the 3rd day we were there!! We had a fabulous time and would definitely come back!

Excellent stay

Communication from Brenda was excellent. Always pleasant and responsive. Property was exactly as pictured. Nicely redone, very clean. Location fantastic. So convenient to beach and loved being able to walk to general store for breakfast sandwiches or supplies. Overall palmetto dunes has everything you want in a resort but yet the private condo of the Moorings is lovely. Great stay !

Great Beach Location

Awesome location - convenient to the beach (less than 200m) and just a short walk to the well provisioned General Store. Very easy check in process even though we arrived after hours. Condo was airy and comfortable and well provisioned. Only complaint I have is the lack of towel racks and lack of bedside lamps. We had a great time and would stay again for sure.

Spring Break in Hilton Head

We loved our time in Hilton Head. The location of this condo is perfect for beach, biking and walking to Palmetto Dunes activities. The 2 bedrooms worked great for our family, and the condo was very clean when we arrived. Our only issue is that the condo doesn’t have any lamps, so the overhead lights are the only thing to use. This wasn’t ideal. Also,some of the kitchen supplies are limited, but we made do. otherwise, it’s great.

Thanksgiving

Overall we enjoyed our stay. Check in was a little stressful as we arrived after 5:00 PM. An envelope was left for us to decipher as they were closed for the evening. The office and the property are in different locations. Once we were in the unit, all was great. Very clean and super roomy. Less than a minute walk to the beach and centrally located to everything on the island. Would stay there again and again!!!! Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful

Arrived to a beautiful clean villa, had everything we needed including books and blankets to curl up on couch or out on each balcony with. We had such a wonderful time and loved the separate wings of the villa-plenty of space for our vacation of 4 and then some. The 3rd bathroom was an added plus which we used as well as the washer and dryer. We had our beach chairs delivered and ready for us when we arrived on our doorstep so that was a nice feature as well. Our stay the weather was gorgeous and loved how close to the beach it was. Walked down our stairs to the left and beach was to the right with also the Dunnes House bar/restaurant which also located directly on the beach. This stay couldn’t of been better, we will DEFINITELY be back. We always stay in Palmetto Dunes-love it here! Thank you again so much!!

Was a nice place to stay and proximity to beach was great. Was pretty clean and comfy rooms. Only add I would make is maybe some info of things to do in the area or preferred places to eat to save us the research.
