  • 415 CAPTAINS WALK

    The Captains Walk Villas offer sensational oceanfront views plus an oceanfront pool and baby pool right on site for the guests of Captains Walk & Captains Cove. This villa provides an oceanfront view from the kitchen to the master bedroom and is just steps to the beach.

    415 Captains Walk, located on the 3rd floor, has a panoramic oceanfront view from the private balcony that is accessible from the living room of the villa. The villa is comfortably suited for up to 6 guests. The kitchen has been remodeled in 2022-23 and features all the main appliances along with all the things you will need for your vacation to cook and eat in if you so choose. There is a dining area that will seat up to 6 guests and the comfortable living area with a flat screen Smart TV to enjoy.

    The villa has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The oceanfront master bedroom features a king bed along with a private bathroom. The walk in shower has been completely renovated in 2023. There is a dressing area and plenty of closet space for your use. There is a flat screen Smart TV in the master bedroom.

    The 2nd bedroom features 2 double beds. Great place for another couple or for up to 4 kids! The 2nd bathroom is accessible from both the hallway and the bedroom directly. This bathroom features a bathtub/shower combination. The 2nd bedroom also has a TV for your enjoyment.

    This oceanfront villa is comfortably furnished & offers FREE Wi-Fi. Captain Walk's guest can easily walk to the PD Racquet Club for a tennis match or pickleball game, the famous General Store (known for their breakfast & lunch meals!) and/or to the Palmetto Dunes Outfitters where you can rent bike, a kayak or canoe to go explore the 11 Mile Waterways that winds itself throughout the Resort. Highly recommend renting a bike as their are numerous bike trails inside and outside the resort to enjoy. Shelter Cove is located just across from Palmetto Dunes and features Tuesday night fireworks during the summer months (Mid June-Mid August) and is full of shops, restaurants and marina activities that are easy to access.

Captain’s walk. The view says it all.

The view was amazing. The minimalist furnishings in living room doesn’t do justice to the rest of the surroundings. Especially the wall of TV cables. But I would rent it again, just so we could see and hear the ocean from our condo. Also the pool was great.

Renting the property was seamless and staff great. Plastic shower liner had orange soap scum all over it. Also in the bathroom sinks. Bath tub facet dated and difficult to work.

Happy with my stay

We were looking for a relaxing place to stay on the beach and my parents recommended Captain’s Walk. I was beyond happy when I opened the door to the condo and saw the beautiful ocean through the glass doors in front of me. The condo itself was clean and nicely decorated. The communication from Sea Turtle was excellent. We knew exactly what to do and which places to go to for bikes, kayaks, whatever we needed. They even included the location of the ER which came in handy later in the week. I will gladly stay here again. I couldn’t ask for better accommodations.

the packet had the wrong number unit , so we entered a unit with someone in it and we only received 1 pass in our mailed packet and had to argue to get another pass for just the weekend.

Great view

The condo is nicely decorated. Nicely furnished. The only complaints with the actual unit is PLEASE splurge the $40 on a new commode seat in the master bath. Someone has tried to fix a broken hinge and it literally takes 2 hands to open/close the seat. The guest bath tub doesn’t drain properly. These are both easy repairs though and shouldn’t deter anyone from staying here! The groundskeepers do fantastic at keeping the facility well manicured! There are deer that roam daily which I thought was shocking. But a pleasant surprise! The facility needs to stay on top of their pest control. We noticed roaches in the exterior stairwells. Nothing to do with this actual unit though!

Plenty of drawers and closets to store items. Palmetto Dunes is great for running or biking along fully shaded trails. WiFi throughout the resort is weak. Was difficult to sustain phone calls, or use internet without it lagging.
