Beautifully Updated Home with Extraordinary Lagoon and Golf Views!

Come enjoy this wonderfully updated three bedroom and two bathroom home located on Palmetto Dunes' 11 Mile Lagoon system and overlooking the championship Robert Trent Jones Golf Course!

The kitchen really shines in this gorgeous home. Features include custom cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and a huge island providing ample space to prepare a meal. Coming fully-equipped, you'll have everything you need to dine in with the whole family. Just off the kitchen is a full-size laundry room.

The dining area is adjacent to the kitchen and comfortably seats six guests.

Enter the living area with its new and comfortable beach-contemporary furniture and overall theme. A long wall of large windows reveals the private pool area and of course the lagoon and Robert Trent Jones golf course views. Off the kitchen and living areas, is a screened-in Carolina Room, making perfect use of the space to accentuate the incredible view. The Carolina room has a built-in propane grill along with a sofa and a couple chairs to relax in.

The primary bedroom consists of a king bed, Smart TV and an en-suite primary bathroom. The bathroom has been completely redesigned with aged brass finishes which perfectly compliment the theme of the home and, in particular, this bathroom. A large custom-tiled walk-in shower accompanies the space.

The second bedroom is down the hall from the primary and features a queen bed and a guest bathroom. The bathroom is outside the bedroom and features high-profile designs and a custom-tiled tub and shower combination.

Across the foyer and down another hallway is the third bedroom, which contains a queen bed.

Relax beside your private pool and breathe in the fresh air on one of several chaise lounges! The pool has two small water features, similar to small bubblers, which adults and children alike will enjoy! The view is panoramic and must be seen in the flesh to truly comprehend its beauty.

The beach is easily reached by a short walk, shorter bike ride or by calling the Palmetto Dunes Buggy which a seasonal, and free, on-call shuttle service provided within Palmetto Dunes and Shelter Cove Marina.

A Tesla vehicle charger is located at this property and is available for guest's use.

House was beautifully decorated, comfortable and had many upgraded items, like the grill, outdoor pool cushions and fluffy towels. But best of all was the location, with the sun shining all day over the lagoon! If the house had more bedrooms I would stay there every time!!

However, gutters and roof overrun with pine needles which blow into pool and surrounding area each evening. So needed to be cleaned daily. Also washer in unit did not work which was disappointing.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We always enjoy visiting Palmetto Dunes. The atmosphere, central location, bike paths and amenities are great. We’ve rented numerous homes within the resort. Unfortunately this property fell short of our expectations. While updated, the house was not clean and we called the property manager to check a dripping AC unit in the living room. There was mold around other AC returns and in an unused stairwell. The landscaping was not well-kept around the pool area and could be a hazard for small children. The view is very nice, beds were comfortable (although pillows were old) and being on the lagoon was relaxing.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, our experience was wonderful. Didn't use the screened-in porch due to wasps and mosquitos inside the screened in porch. The wasps were coming up through the gaps between the wood planks -- a tile floor would be better. Also need a dining table and chairs inside the screened-in porch to eat and enjoy the views. Everything else was perfect.

Beautiful View, but a few issues.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House was ok, in great location. Views were wonderful of canal and golf course. Fairly quiet, seemed to be a lot of house maintenance near us while we were there. The Issues we had tried to be resolved in a timely manner by Palmetto dunes rentals. Some issues were not able to be resolved without homeowner input. Chimney leaked into family room, apparently ongoing problem from a few months before. Also, wall on opposite side of fireplace bubbling from water. Shower in hall bath, did not work. The dryer vent was not hooked up at all inside house, (my husband had to bandaid it while we were there.) There is an upstairs that is not mentioned in the description of home. A bit strange, wondering if it was supposed to be locked off from renters. Bedroom and bath up there were very dirty, and had huge open crawl space. We were a little freaked out at first. Also, carpenter bees outside around pool were horrible. Looks like they were setting up shop in the roof. Supplies are limited, could use more dishes. No garage. No supplies for beach at all. I almost feel like maybe its a newer owner who put it together very quickly to rent. Even with all of this we still enjoyed are stay. Not sure if I would recommend this home until all issues are resolved. Not really a family friendly home.

This wasn’t communicated in advance nor has it yet been addressed through a partial refund on the premium priced booking that I paid.
