Beautiful Golf Front Villa!

  • You are certain to enjoy this contemporary and comfortable villa that is literally steps off the George Fazio golf course with sweeping views of multiple greens!

    The updated kitchen includes custom cabinetry, granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. The kitchen comes fully equipped to match your friends and family's cooking needs. The dining room offers seating for six.

    The living room is comfortable with a sofa and love seat along with an HDTV. There is a slider that goes out to your private patio right on the golf course. With the grill and outdoor seating available, you will love being on the patio both day and night.

    The upstairs primary bedroom features a king-sized bed, HDTV, walk-in closet and en-suite bathroom. The en-suite has two pedestal sinks and a tiled tub and shower combination. A bonus room with two twin beds and a HDTV create a separate area for kids or extra guests.

    The second bedroom is located downstairs and features a queen bed, HDTV and a walk-in closet. The bathroom was completely updated and now features a granite vanity and custom-tiled walk-in shower.

    With just a call, the seasonal Dunes Buggy shuttle service will pick up your family and have you at the beach in a few minutes. A 15 minute bike ride will get you to the George Fazio Clubhouse, Alexander's Restaurant, General Store and the Beach! There is a private community pool and tennis court for you to enjoy as well. This villa is close to everything wonderful that Palmetto Dunes has to offer!

Not too shabby needs improvements

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Just a few notes. Downstairs bedframe is cheap. Had to have maintenance come out and repair. Couches could use a steam cleaning. Dishwasher leaves residue on dishes so hand-wash those while you are there. Sliding glass door was hard to open and shut. Tried to clean the tracks and noticed that one is bent. No idea how it could have happened. The owners to the right (looking out to the golf course) were very nice and had great things to say about the owner of our rental. Cutting board would have been nice. More cereal bowls too. There were only 2 of them. Great location for the price. I wouldn't stay there again. Palmetto Dunes is always the pick, going to reserve Queens Grant next year.

Cleaning could have been better - we would dental flossers on the living room carpet. This was our second time in this unit and would rent again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very disappointed . Place needs help. Hole on access door where you can see outside. Slider doesn’t function properly with makeshift lock that we needed to tighten. Screen door doesn’t close tightly. Shade in dining area about 8” too short and bedroom blinds that don’t work.Bed is so old and uncomfortable. We realize now why this was the only place available when we booked.

Reviewer Comments: Dual entrance unit.A bit in living room could not be figured out. Pool closed all week. Washer machine stopped working. Cleaning staff left the place clean - but you can't get rid of couch stains - not the cleaning staff responsibility. Inverness and palmetto are still great despite this units short comings - for the amount of time you stay - you decide what is important to you.

Our villa was clean and well decorated but no tv, clothes washer, or hvac instructions. Patio was a mess and grill had no propane so sitting outside was not an option.

I must say overall things were fine but the owner should leave more instruction re: internet password and how to operate the washer. The Blue Guide book found in all rentals was left empty of instruction! Also K bed had no mattress pad! A few more dishes would also be helpful- had to buy measuring cups and spoons too! But we had a good time none the less! Front Desk Associates were fabulous with help with a number of issues!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Inverness Villlage is a quiet neighborhood. There are many dogs. The golf course is maintained each morning prior to 7 am. This unit could have the front door and lock repaired and cleaned. The back patio and door need cleaning and repair. Need new cutlery and frying pans. The management should supply more than 2 dishwasher tablets for a weeks stay and coffee papers. Kitchen chairs are poor and the master bed is hard. Nice new carpet and remodeled first floor bath.

Reviewer Comments: Although we had a minor hiccup shortly after checking in (the patio of our assigned unit was under construction), the front desk folks happily reassigned to us an upgraded unit, 943 Inverness, which was beautiful and even larger than we had expected. The townhouse was beautifully located with views of the golf course. We will try to rent the same house on our next trip to Hilton Head Island

Inverness Rental

I have much experience in the other subdivisions and would say this was not my favorite in terms of location. The unit itself was dated except for the bathrooms. The kitchen pots/pans were in such poor condition I hesitated to use anything. The den furniture had coverings on them which did not fit and made the area look messy and uncared for. The pool area was nice although the hospitality app had the wrong code and a fellow vacationer had to let me in. I sent an email which went unanswered. I did call the front desk who gave me a code to "try". The keypad lock appeared was broken; it was difficult to enter any code and get the door to unlock.

Did the trick

Reviewer Comments: The condo was the size we needed and the location was perfect for beach and pool use. We have stayed in Inverness for 11 seasons. This was our first stay in this condo. The furniture in the living area was so uncomfortable and covered only in sheets, ripped and torn. After busy days out, we didn’t find any relief on the couch, chair or loveseat. The house wasn’t cleaned before we arrived as evidenced by dirty glasses and plates, greasy fingerprints on cabinets, and dust and webs under side tables. Also, we had to deal with 8 palmetto bugs, so we were unsure when the last extermination visit occurred. There were not enough plates for the family to eat in a day, nothing in the kitchen was matching or updated. Seemed very swap meet, mostly broken and chipped. The twin beds are so old, any stirring woke the kids. The master tv didn’t work. And the pool code was changed while we were there, making it inaccessible. There is no process for the rental agency to get timely information from the HOA, so that contractual offering was not usable until we found someone who owned a home to provide the info. I waited on the phone with the rental company for 40 min and got no results. In fact, I had to call the company back an provide the code. They blamed the HOA though I paid them for pool use. They also suggested I contact our condo owner, who I have no access to. A very frustrating incident. We love Palmetto Dunes but I would not recommend this property or going through the rental agency.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We got to the property early, 3:30pm. The lady working the desk was on a personal phone call, told us rudely our rental was not ready and to come back later. She took our number and said she would call when it was ready. We went to eat, wasted some time, no call. We came back at 5 PM, there was a new lady at the desk. Very friendly and helpful. Checked us in and we went to our resort. The apartment we had was amazing, had a great time.

Walls are too thin. Lawn mover going 6:30 AM on 6/15/17. Toilet in master did not work properly, maintenance had to come out to replace pieces. Most of the outlets are too large, making it hard to plug anything into the sockets. Had to keep resetting cable box on TV in the Master Bedroom. Washing machine not working properly.

Great house

Loves our stay. The house is lovely and had everything we needed for my husband, myself and my 3 year old. We used baby's away for the crib and they set it all up before we even got there. Love the pool in Inverness village and the ocean access within palmetto dunes.
