My primary reason for a reduced star rating is the property management company. The condo itself was lovely and as described, but the renovations projects at Villamare were much more extensive than described in the listing. We were told to expect, "some scaffolding and painting." Instead we were greeted with:-loud hydraulic equipment that prevented us from enjoying sitting on our balconies. -workers taking their breaks sitting on our guest room balcony. -all internal pathways torn up for renovations. - muddy parking lots crowded with construction equipment. -a flat tire on our morning of departure from construction debris in the parking garage. When I spoke with the management company the morning after our arrival, they stated that there would be follow up before my departure and that something would be done for us to address the issues. I missed a call from the company and returned it the same day, then texted two days later. I emailed a week after our stay and I have received no explanation, follow up or attempt to resolve our issue.I am very frustrated in the lack of communication or concern. I believe in resolving things directly rather than ranting, threatening or leaving scathing online reviews. It is disappointing that an attempt to resolve this issue with reason and kindness has been ignored. So, this is my honest review of the management company. On a positive note, the renovations to the exterior were needed and look to be very nice.
