Welcome to Sandy Feet Retreat, your ultimate beach getaway nestled in the heart of North Forest Beach, Hilton Head Island, just a three-minute walk from the sand and surf. This spacious 6-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom beach house offers unparalleled comfort and convenience.

Sandy Feet Retreat is more than just a vacation home: it’s two houses in one! The main house features recent renovations, including a fully updated kitchen with a chic coffee bar, stylish new flooring, and contemporary furnishings. Each of the three bathrooms in the main house boasts beautiful walk-in showers, new vanities, and modern fixtures.

Ideal for both relaxation and entertainment, this property includes a large, private pool that can be heated for an additional fee (not available from November 1 to mid-March). The pool area is one of the largest and best on the island, with lounge chairs perfect for soaking up the sun. Please note, diving is not allowed due to pool depth.

The main house offers seamless indoor-outdoor living with a welcoming entrance, a generous dining area, and a Carolina Room that stretches the length of the home. French doors lead to the pool and a covered, screened-in porch featuring a custom-built bar, outdoor seating, and a flat-screen TV. The screened-in porch connects the main house to the two-story guest house, enhancing privacy while maintaining family connectivity.

Inside, the main house includes a cozy living area with a TV, fireplace (not for guest use), and sectional sofa, ideal for gathering with loved ones. The kitchen is fully equipped, ensuring you have everything needed to prepare meals and enjoy your coffee bar.

The guest house adds extra space and comfort, making it perfect for family gatherings, small corporate retreats, or golf groups. It’s conveniently located on the bike trail, just a four-minute walk to Coligny Plaza for shopping, dining, and entertainment, and close to the new Celebration Park.

Additional amenities include a garage stocked with bikes, a beach cart, sand toys, boogie boards, a corn hole toss game, and an extra refrigerator. Parking is available for up to 4 vehicles.

With accommodations for 13-14 guests, including 4 king beds, 2 sets of bunk beds (recommended for kids), 2 day beds, and a sofa sleeper, Sandy Feet Retreat is the perfect setting for unforgettable family vacations and will surely become a cherished retreat you’ll want to return to year after year.

Please note: Weekly rentals are from Saturday to Saturday during the summer months, with a 3-night minimum stay required during the off-season.

Great beach house for families

We had three families - 6 adults and 6 kids between 6-10. This house worked perfectly for us. We loved being able to walk to the beach, town, and having a pool. Bikes are in poor condition so don’t count on them - otherwise house and amenities were great. Outdoor shower was broken but property manager fixed within hours of our call.

Family Getaway

We had a great time and plenty of room in this beautiful house. 8 adults and 7 kids enjoyed playing games and swimming together. Just a short walk from the beach and Coligny area. We had a great time!

Family Week in HHI

This is the second time we’ve stayed at this property and will not be our last! We love how close the house is to the beach and Coligny, we can walk or bike to both. Our family ranges in baby to adult. Having the guest house is great for the family that needs a little space from everyone else. We love the updates to the guest house as well! The screen porch is perfect for gathering at night to watch movies together. This is our favorite house on HHI!

We'll be back!

This property was perfect for our family. Great walking distance to beach and Coligny Plaza, stores, shops. The teen boys loved having the guest house to themselves, the pre-teens loved the bunk room and the adults loved having king size beds for all! Clean, comfortable and spacious. We also enjoyed having so many beach toys/games/supplies.

Great house / vacation

The house was great. The pool area had some garbage wrappers around that weren’t picked up prior to our arrival. The house wasn’t cleaned by 4 pm so we had to wait another hour or so before we could get in. The dryer didn’t dry very well I’m not sure if something is wrong with it and the oven needs to be cleaned as every time we cooked the smoke alarm went off. The master bedroom smoke alarm battery died and it kept beeping so we had to take them out. I emailed about it and never heard back from anyone. Besides these little issues the house and location were great.

Christmas vacation was excellent

We had our family Christmas in this wonderful home that was very spacious and centrally located on the island. The house has a great layout. Everything you need is provided from the kitchen utensils to bikes to beach toys!! Even the guest house has it’s own washers/dryer, oven/stove… The accommodations are excellent and I will definitely rent it again and recommend it to friends!! Thanks!!

Awesome house for 16 of us great location

Spacious and kid friendly

We had 10 adults, 6 kids and 1 infant. There was plenty of room for everyone. We did not feel crowded. The kids loved the pool and plenty of room to run around. We were close to the beach and Coligny.

Family Vacation

We had a great time. We had entire family there & had plenty of room to spread out. The kids enjoyed the bikes that were stored in the garage as well as the pool toys. Shopping & the beach were well within walking distance. The property manager was very receptive to our questions and got back to us immediately.

#perfect vacation home

Easy to find on app. House was described to perfection. Hopefully our family makes it back to rent this house again. No need for car after checking in. Everything in walking distance. No words to describe the feeling when you're riding a bike on the beach. Love ❤️❤️ this house.

Great vacation!

Overall it was great! Only issue was the outdoor room. It was very hot and there was no fan near the bar. Also pool area looked a little tired. Pool was so so hot that it wasn’t enjoyable. Otherwise main house was updated nicely. A larger table would have been nice but still had a great time. Location was great! Short walk to beach. House was stocked nicely with chairs and wagons.

Great pool and close to Coligny

We are 15 year HHI vacationers and have rented all over the island. This property will be one of our new favorites. The pool size is great and the space is very nice for a large group. Only complaint but minor is spotty Wifi.

Overall good value for economy house

Overall the price for location was good. House was recently renovated inside which was nice but small for sleeping 10 in main house. Beach suplies, bikes in garage etc. were excellent. Pool was a great size but the waterfall was not working as advertised and the rental manager nor pool guy knew nothing about it. I think that running would have prevented the water from clouding so much and the pool guy needing to put so many chemicals in at noon on wednesday which made us unable to use the pool for 3 hours in the middle of day. While we had a great time, the 3 rating is just based on past 20 years of renting houses. Small issues that could easily be fixed and raise the rating. The screened in porch kept tripping a breaker and actually fried the cable amp which left us without cable and wifi for 3 days. The cable guy said the 4th trip there in 2 months so something needs addressed with the electric. The porch area was nice area and the guest house was nice for the kids. Easy walk to coligny and beach and lots of chairs for the beach. Only other bad thing was not enough hot water for even half of the 9 staying in the main house to have hot water before going to dinner. As you can see mixed emotions. Great vacation and happy for the use of the house but wanted to share these minor issues as I know some people would be upset. I was a little surprised that the property manager offered nothing for the loss of cable etc. Even something as simple as a minimal voucher for a return trip in the future. We quickly burned threw mobile data quickly without wifi and 3 of us having to stay in touch with work. Once again not enough to ruin a great trip but lack of concern from property manager will have us looking elsewhere in the future. This is also one of the few houses where have rented where we didnt have access to the owner to share concerns. Usually owners are reaching out before and after trip. Don't let this review discourage you from this house as it is a great price for what you get but know you could uave some mi or glitches.

Extended family vacation

One of the better places we have stayed at so far. Each year for the past 15 years we pick a beach on the east coast and this was the best so far. Walk to every thing. Nice house. Nice pool. Nice beach. Nice community. Definite recommend.
