My experience was negative. When we returned to the room around 9PM I noticed the clock in the room was off by 3 hours and one could not manually adjust the time. I called the front desk and a staffer asked what was the problem - did I want a wake up call. I said no - just a clock that had accurate time. Then I turned on the TV and press the guide button on the remote. What appeared was a list of numbers -but no way to identify the channel for which say #41 corresponded. In call to desk I was told that the front desk had a channel guide - so why wasn't I given one when I checked in?. She also told me that channel 10 had an online guide. I pressed 10 and what appeared was a long list of identified channels - say CNN - but with 2 sets of numbers: 1 set was black the other blue. . Some numbers that I pressed resulted in a notice of "No Service". Also if say CNN was 43 the online guide showed 43-1,43-2 43-3. It was a complex system and very frustrating for a road weary traveler. Again, I was never offered the guide and when I called that night no one offered to bring a TV guide or a clock to the room. When we turned out the lights to sleep we realized that the window shade to the window that faces the front of the motel and a very busy highway did not go all the way down-so we slept with our backs to the window to avoid seeing a stream of headlights. I complained the next morning and was told Hampton could not adjust the bill as I booked through Expedia.
