Laurel Thicket at Do Drop Inn Cabin Rentals

This darling cottage/cabin has a full kitchen, seating area with hand made rockers, Queen size bed, bath with shower, Satellite TV, air & heat. Charming décor! Rustic in and out with all the modern amenities. Outdoor dining area, playground and with fire pit, gas grill, picnic tables, deck and outdoor sunroom.
No Wi-Fi.
Two miles to Fancy Gap restaurant and shops.
Close by attractions include Mabry Mill, Blue Ridge Music Center,Doughton Park, New River Trail Park, Crooked Creek stocked fishing stream. Mt. Airy N. C. is short drive for more shops and restaurants.

Damage Charges: The vacation cabin will be inspected after each tenant’s departure. If damages other than normal ware and tear are found, you will be notified immediately of the costs for resolving them.
No pets, no smoking and no lit candles inside.

Susie and William were so accommodating! She met us with cake! :) The cabin was meticulous and you can tell they take pride in their grounds and the experience for each guest. Would definitely recommend! If we stay in the area again, this will be the first place we check for availability.

Fantastic stay

We had an awesome time in the Laurel Thicket cabin at The Do Drop Inn! The cabin was very clean and very nicely decorated. We particularly enjoyed the quiet and peacefulness of the area. Loved waking up in the early morning, taking a cup of coffee on the front porch, and listening to the forest wake up. The birds, the cows in the distance all made for a very relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Remote, quiet, property. But easy access. Adjacent to the Blue Ridge Parkway and minutes away from major roads and highways. Very nice and well maintained cabin and property.

Weekend Get Away

Outstanding. Went shortly after hurricane Helene rolled through. Was updated regularly on how things were going. Arrived and was met at the cabin by Susette. Very helpful and informative. Will definitely stay there again. Highly recommend if your looking dor a quiet place in nature. Seen deer rabbits and other critters while sitting on the porch.

Peaceful getaway

Absolutely Loved It

We absolutely loved our stay in Laurel Thicket cabin. It was cozy and so well decorated. We loved sitting on the front and back porches! We watched deer grazing In the yard. We walked the trails each day. It was so peaceful. And our hosts were the best! We would love to stay there again.

Blueridge Hideaway

Laurel Thicket was a perfect weekend getaway for 40th anniversary. Mrs.Susie met us at the porch with 2 pieces of some of the best cake we have ever had. She took the time to answer any questions about the cabin and give us some insights on local restaurants and places to visit. The cabins was beautifully decorated and well supplied. She has quite the taste for decorations. Hope to visit again soon.

Short getaway

Perfect property for a quiet getaway. Nestled in the Virgina mountain near Fancy Gap just off the Blue Ridge Parkway. Second time staying for one in our party. First time for the other. Didn't want to leave and are looking forward to going back. You can do as much or as little as you want. I'd would recommend a stay here to anyone.

Blissful Peace and Quiet

I needed a break...some genuine peace and quiet, and that's exactly what I got, with lively surroundings to boot. Very comfortable for 1-2 people (only one bed). Well worth the cost. I'd go again at the drop of a hat.

Amazing Anniversary get away!!!

The stay was wonderful. Cabin was perfect for husband and I. Everything was well kept. Outside area was perfect for grilling. We utilized the porch and enjoyed the outdoor. Relaxation peace and quiet at its best. Simply beautiful. William and susie were great host!! Will be booking again.
