Welcome to our charming vacation home, which was built in 1880 and has recently been lovingly renovated. The rustic and historic touches give this house a truly unique charm.

With plenty of space for up to 6 people and a total of 2 bathrooms, our vacation home offers all the comforts you need for your stay. The cozy fireplace in the dining room invites you to enjoy relaxing evenings with your partner or family, providing warm comfort and a cozy atmosphere.

The spacious terrace offers a breathtaking view of the green surroundings and invites you to spend balmy summer evenings outdoors while enjoying the peace and beauty of nature. Surrounded by picturesque hiking trails such as the Eifelsteig, our vacation home is the ideal retreat for nature lovers like you who are looking for a break in the heart of the Vulkaneifel.

Our vacation home is located between Hillesheim and Gerolstein, offering you a wealth of recreational activities and attractions in the immediate vicinity. The Eagle and Wolf Park, just a few kilometers away, promises exciting experiences for the whole family. Additionally, there’s a train station in the neighboring town of Oberbettingen, making it easy to get here.

Getting Here & Travel Guide:

After you book, you’ll immediately receive a booking confirmation that includes a link to our digital travel guide. This travel guide not only provides you with all the important information about your accommodations but also includes our personal recommendations. You’ll find tips on restaurants, hiking trails, and recreational activities, as well as many other useful suggestions to help you make the most of your stay with us.
No later than three days before your arrival, you’ll receive a personalized code from us for self-check-in via smart lock. This allows you flexible and hassle-free access to your vacation home.

Location:

Discover Niederbettingen, idyllically situated along the Eifel’s longest river, the picturesque 142-km-long Kyll. The nearest train station on the Cologne-Trier railway line is only about 1.5 km away, making for a convenient trip.

Niederbettingen may be small, but its charm is unmistakable. With a population of around 270, this village exudes a special sense of peace and tranquility. On a map of the Eifel, you’ll easily find Niederbettingen nestled between the well-known Eifel towns of Hillesheim and Gerolstein, which makes its location all the more attractive.

House Rules

1. Inventory and Damage

We ask that you treat our inventory with care and return used dishes to the cabinets only when they are clean and dry. Damage to furniture and furnishings can happen and is often easily repaired. Please notify us immediately of any damage that occurs.

2. Noise Levels and Quiet Hours

Please be considerate of our neighbors and keep noise levels in the vacation rental at a reasonable volume, especially when playing music or watching TV. Quiet hours begin at 10:00 PM.

3. Visitors

Your visitors are welcome in our vacation rental at any time for short periods. However, it is not permitted to allow unregistered guests to stay overnight in the vacation rental. If the number of guests changes, please inform us in a timely manner so that we can prepare the vacation rental accordingly.

4. Smoking

Smoking is strictly prohibited throughout the entire property.
Smoking is only permitted in the fully open outdoor area. Please keep doors and windows closed so that no smoke drifts into the house.
If a smoke odor does develop in the accommodation, we will have to charge you for the resulting special cleaning costs (e.g., ozone treatment).

5. Pets

Pets are welcome in our vacation rental. The number is limited to a maximum of 2. Please note, however, that you must report any damage caused by your pet to us.

6. Security and Valuables

Always close all windows and the front door before leaving the vacation rental, and be sure to turn off all electronic devices. We assume no liability for the loss of valuables during your stay.

7. Cleaning

Our cleaning service will thoroughly clean the vacation rental after your departure, as agreed. However, we ask that you clean up any major messes in advance and leave the apartment swept clean upon departure.

8. Environment

We care about the environment, and we hope you do too. Therefore, please turn off the lights and all electronic devices when they are not in use. Conserving water also helps the environment. Thank you.

9. Electric Car Charging

Charging electric cars using our property’s electrical system is not permitted. We ask that you use a designated EV charging station.

10. Candlelight

Lighting candles is not permitted in our vacation rental. To create a cozy atmosphere, the wood-burning stove in the dining room may be used with due care.
