Talley's Cabins By Dale Hollow Lake.. Right Where You Want To Be!

Talley's Cabins' is a privately owned getaway nestled in the hills of Northeast Tennessee (Upper Cumberland Plateau). Comfortable, clean, and quaint. We are located in Hilham, TN in Clay County. This cabin is located on 47 acres that includes trails for hiking and enjoying the outdoors. There are multiple creeks and waterfalls on the property.

Some nearby attractions include Dale Hollow Lake, Mitchell Creek Marina, Standing Stone State Park, Cummins Falls State Park and we are only 20 minutes away from three quaint county seats: Celina, Gainesboro and Livingston. The larger town of Cookeville is 45 minutes away.

This Cabin includes:

- Beautiful views and large decking areas
- 47 acres of trails for exploring and hiking
- Multiple creeks and cascading waterfalls

- Tank-less water heater (It always aggravated me in places I’ve stayed and would run out of hot water! Not at TC&B!)
- King size bed- upper loft
- Full size bed main level
- Grill
- Games (eg., Monopoly, cards)
- Linens supplied
- Accommodates: 4 for sleeping. Small dining table provided, but best for two. TV trays provided. Large outside table on deck as well that easily sits four.

- No Pets

We are in small, peaceful and secluded county. There are no interstates or major airports in our area. The Dale Hollow Lake area is truly a hidden secret and gem. Local TN folks knows just how beautiful the rolling hills and lake is. We are about 20 mins from the marina.

2.If you are GPS’ing your directions to us: Use 764 Hickory Lane, Hilham Tn.

3.It is always easier getting here in the daylight. These country roads are kinda dark at night

4.Please note there are no close-by grocery stores, so you may want to bring grocery’s with you, instead of getting here and then heading back out to a store (about 20 mins).

5.Cell service is extremely limited on the drive in; AT&T is non-existent, although a bar or two once at the cabin. Other providers are spotty.

Our area does not house the standard local chains/commerce. This is no hustle or bustle here :) Our local commerce are Mom&Pop shops offering the essentials and a heaping of country charm and hospitality.

The cabin will be on your right as you come down Hickory Lane. It is best, to pull in the gravel driveway / entrance and then turnaround and go up to the cabin.

Very peaceful place. We wanted to get away from our crazy busy life for our honeymoon and we got exactly that. Very clean place as well. Hot tub was amazing. Very pleased. Will definitely consider going back for our anniversary!

I thought i reserved a different cabin so when we realized we would have to climb the narrow staircase it wasn't ideal for us. The cabin was nice and clean. Breakfast was provided but it consisted of fresh eggs which we didnt cook. (No butter or anything to go with it) i didnt know i should bring. They had a basket of pre bought cereal bowls (we had not milk), chips, and various other snacks. The hot tub had a cover that didnt fit properly so spiders and a little dirt was in it so we didnt get in.

Perfect Getaway

We could really tell the Talley's care about providing guests with a great experience. The hot tub was clean and hot, firewood was stacked and ready, and there were even farm fresh eggs in the fridge! We had an excellent stay and loved getting away from the busyness of life!

off the beaten path

We enjoyed staying at this cozy, secluded cabin with its comfortable and tidy furnishings. The chalkboard welcome, fresh eggs, and coffee were a nice surprise. The bed in the loft was heavenly--I slept 11 hours one night. We loved soaking in the hot tub after a long day, counting shooting stars, watching bats, and listening to coyotes and owls.

Great cabin and area

We really enjoyed our stay. We were both under the weather but we didn’t know that would be the case when we booked. We didn’t do a lot but we got some rest. It was a bummer that the fire place did not work but it was ok. Also we couldn’t figure out how to stop the pump on the hot tub but again it was no big deal. Thanks for a great stay.

Cozy cabin in the woods

This is such an adorable cabin tucked away on a hillside. There are great trails on the property and it is so quiet and peaceful. The owners made us feel so welcome and the cabin had the most comfortable beds! This is a great place to stay for some R&R.

Lovely getaway

The cabin was clean and comfortable. Lots of things already provided, like snacks and toiletries. The hot tub was much enjoyed, we walked the trails, and enjoyed a campfire. There were recommendations on things to do and places to eat in neighboring towns. We definitely recommend, and would absolutely stay again!

Amazing relaxing getaway

Where do I start? Talley's is definitely out there where it's quiet except for nature. Pulling up to cabin #2 immediately we were excited. It's cute and settled into the hillside. Upon entering, we were more than happy with the hominess and cleanliness. The furnishings and decorations were on point. Over the next 4 days we relaxed in the hot tub, took naps and ate/drank whenever we wanted. The fresh eggs and continental breakfast/snacks were a nice touch. It was warm enough a few days to have the windows open. Ahhh, the country wind felt and smelled amazing. We slept sooooooo well in the King bed upstairs. That's one thing I'll miss. Slept so good I woke up a few mornings not knowing where I was. This cabin has everything you need to unwind. You won't go wrong booking with Talley's.

If you're looking for a getaway, Talley's Cabin's is the place to go. Steve and Dana go out of their way to make you feel comfortable! We walked in and all the Christmas decorations were up with Christmas songs on the TV! Instant Christmas spirit!
