Highlands View Lodge: Mountain Retreat w/ 2 Porches, Hot Tub & Firepit

Welcome to the Highlands View Lodge in Highlands, NC. This beautiful home is located 4.2 miles from downtown Highlands.  It is in a quiet subdivision with great views.  It features three decks, a hot tub, and a fire pit which beckons you to be outside.  The spacious inside of the home feels like a cozy cabin with decor that makes you think of a Colorado lodge.  Although we offer wifi and cable, we encourage you to venture out to one of the 73 waterfalls within a 30-mile radius. Enjoy Highlands!  This home is tucked away in a quiet location on the edge of Highlands. It is perfect for families to come and relax and spend time outdoors enjoying the hot tub and outdoor fire pit.
It has plenty of space indoors which comfortably sleeps 6, with a sleeper sofa that accommodates up to 8.  A spacious Main Level master suite features a King bed and a large ensuite bath. Downstairs are the remaining two bedrooms (King, Queen), each with their own attached bathroom. The sleeper sofa is downstairs in the lower den.
The indoor space also includes a foosball table, checkers, dartboard, tiki toss, and other fun games for your enjoyment.  There is also a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook a gourmet meal.  If you want to cook outside, we also have a gas grill on our lower deck.
 Speaking of decks, please enjoy a drink and or read a good book on one of our 3 large scenic decks facing the woods and mountains.   Three TVs offer YouTubeTV (app is on the home screen), please don't set your expectations too high on the internet speed. You are in the mountains. Both downstairs bedroom TVs have DVD players to watch your favorite movie.  4 miles away from all of the best shopping, restaurants, and fun experiences Highlands has to offer. There is also the perfect waterfall a mile and a half away called Secret Falls.  It’s perfect for a quick hike, and if it's warm outside, bring a picnic and a swimsuit.  There are also 74 other waterfalls within a 30-mile radius.  This property and Downtown Highlands will not disappoint!

[All of the homes managed by Highlands Vacation Rentals have wifi internet access(speeds may vary based on different providers), basic kitchenware & dishes, linens provided, and a starter set of amenities including: 2 toilet paper rolls per bathroom + A set of personal shampoo, conditioner, hand & body soap (also per bathroom), 2 paper towel rolls, a few kitchen trash bags, a kitchen sponge, some dish soap and a couple of dishwasher and laundry detergent pods. ]

CANCELLATION POLICY: Our cancellation policy (effective for bookings confirmed after April 1, 2024) is outlined below:
For reservations that are 21 days or less, A reservation cancelled ( by email receipt ) between 0 - 45 days prior to arrival is not eligible for a refund. If reservation is cancelled more than 45 days prior to arrival, guest shall receive a refund of all payments made* less a cancellation fee of 10% of the total cost of the reservation AND the cost of any trip insurance if purchased.
*Refunds do not include third-party service fees as those are determined by the booking site and we do not control how those funds are processed.
For any reservations that are more than 21 days, No refund will be given unless the property is re-rented over the previously booked dates.
