  • A más de 4000 pies, estamos a unos 20 minutos a pie de Highlands en el Rhododendron Trail. Nuestra luz y soleada 2 cama / 2. 5 baños casa está ubicada en un vecindario tranquilo con un hermoso bosque detrás. Nave de piso a techo, pisos de madera noble, accesorios personalizados, chimenea de gas, porche exterior con vista al bosque, Wifi, TV, lavadora / secadora, cocina cargada. Clásico encanto de las tierras altas con todas las comodidades modernas. Caminata, pesca, bicicleta, compra o relájate!

    Un refugio perfecto para una pareja de luna de miel, parejas que se escapan para el fin de semana, una familia con niños pequeños, aventureros en solitario que buscan un retiro solemne o viajeros de negocios.

    En la planta baja hay un plano de planta abierto con la cocina, la sala y el comedor. La amplia sala de estar tiene techos altos, un sofá grande y cómodo, TV y chimenea a gas. El comedor tiene capacidad para seis personas con grandes ventanales para disfrutar de la vista. La cocina tiene encimeras de granito, fregadero de la granja con eliminación, nevera grande, microondas, horno, cafetera, máquina de hielo, platos, ollas y sartenes, utensilios, etc. Una lavadora y secadora modernas de tamaño completo están fuera de la cocina, así como un medio baño.

    El dormitorio principal está en la planta baja y tiene una cama queen size, un baño grande con plato de ducha, un banco y un gran tocador personalizado. Hay acceso al porche trasero para disfrutar de una taza de café antes de que todos se levanten.

    El dormitorio n. ° 2 está en el piso de arriba con una cama doble y el baño está al lado del dormitorio con una combinación personalizada de tocador y ducha / bañera de cerámica. También hay un estudio en el piso de arriba con TV, área de juegos y una pequeña terraza en el piso de arriba para disfrutar del amanecer.

    El porche trasero al aire libre cuenta con iluminación al aire libre, ventilador, fogón de gas pequeño, parrilla y mesa de comedor para cuatro. Un escenario perfecto para disfrutar de una copa de vino mientras contempla la puesta de sol.

    Estamos ubicados aproximadamente a una milla del centro de Highlands y puedes caminar a la ciudad desde nuestra casa (aproximadamente 20 minutos a pie). El sendero Rhododendron está justo al lado de nuestra casa para una gran caminata por el vecindario.

    Ya sea que quiera relajarse junto a la chimenea, caminar por cascadas y senderos locales o disfrutar de los exclusivos restaurantes y el distrito comercial de Highlands, ¡nuestra casa es un pedacito de cielo!

    Otras cosas a tener en cuenta: Almacenamos la casa con sábanas, toallas de baño y cocina. La forma de conducir es más fácil levantarse con un automóvil de 4 ruedas / tracción en todas las ruedas. Si no tienes uno, entonces el estacionamiento también está disponible en la parte inferior de la colina. Tenemos una política de "no mascotas" para acomodar a nuestros huéspedes que puedan tener alergias.

Such a cute place!

We loved the house. The check in process was easy and simple. The house was so cute and was perfect for our weekend away for a wedding in Highlands. We had a fabulous stay, we wish we stayed longer!

Beautifully kept home in a wonderful setting

The house is immaculately clean with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We loved the trail tips and instructions for the path into town. Very quiet setting that made for a relaxing weekend.

Fantastic getaway experience

The home was fantastic. This is our second stay at this location. From the location in the trees right next to a hiking trail to having a fire each night in the wood burning fireplace this home is amazing. From check in to check out, everything was perfect:

Mountain House has it all

We have been to the highlands area many times and just loved Debbie’s house. It’s well laid out, very roomy, bright, super clean, great decor, well equipped with everything you need. The location was amazing - can walk to Town through the trails. The house info book was super helpful as were the many books on the area. Debbie was very responsive to our questions. Would definitely stay here again!

Nearly perfect

Beautiful and beautifully-appointed house. Great location, tucked away but close to town and nearby hiking. Very well equipped. Would have given a 5 but we were required to take our garbage with us. But overall, a great house!!

Amazing house in the woods!

We truly enjoyed staying at this property with my 2-year-old son and my friends! Beautiful occasion in the woods, with lots of little trails close by that allow you to easily get into town. The driveway was a bit hard for our Toyota Highlander front wheel drive, but still worth the stay! And it has a nice open living room dining room area-That was perfect for my 2-year-old to run around, and a large table so we could play board games at night! We would definitely book again in the future!

Great getaway!

This is a great house! Very clean, well appointed kitchen, plenty of space. There are lots of stairs and steep inclines if that’s a concern. The host was very communicative and accommodating. We had crummy weather so spent lots of time at the house, which ended up being great! I would stay here again for sure, with friends or family. A very quick drive to town and Highlands is wonderful as always. Our favorite meal was The Ruffed Grouse!

A lovely home away from home!

We loved our stay at this fabulous mountain home! Lots of windows with plenty of natural light. No mountain views since the trees were fully leafed out, but the canopy was so pretty and we felt like we were in a tree house. Beautifully decorated, very clean, and a great kitchen. Debbie is a wonderful host, and check-in and out were a breeze. Great location and very close to Main Street. We struggled a bit in our Mercedes sedan (no 4WD) on the gravel roads and driveway, and the concrete slab "ramps" were a big help in getting up and down the driveway. Luckily, we had good weather during our stay; however, we're not sure we could've managed our comings and goings as well in inclement weather. Overall, a great property!

Beautiful home!

We had a great stay at Debbie’s property for our yearly Thanksgiving trip! The home was beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. Perfect for myself, my husband, and parents. Just a short drive into town so it was perfect proximity for all there is to do. Only issue we ran into was that our Nissan Armada was far too large to be in that driveway or safely get out. There are two concrete slabs to help you get up the driveway but the top became slippery and difficult to maneuver once we got up there. The home was lovely and we would book again in a heartbeat but would bring a different vehicle next time for ease of use.

Absolutely beautiful home and area

We drove in from PA for my nephews wedding and the area did not disappoint. The home is close to town and a very short drive to Highlands Country Club. We can't wait to go back! If it is a nice day I suggest you walk to town. Parking is at a premium. We parked 3 blocks from Main Street and joked we should have just walked. The home is gorgeous! My kiddos loved the rock formations and woods. Beautiful, beautiful home!

Destination wedding adventure

First time we used VRBO, family attended a destination wedding in North Carolina . Stayed in small private home in the hills. Owner very helpful with lots of follow up information including directions, local activities and house responsibilities.

Wonderful place!

My wife and I celebrated our 20th anniversary with a trip to Highlands. This house was absolutely wonderful! Close to town and convenient but also had a secluded feel. We will definitely be coming back!

Magical Weekend

Decided to surprise my wife for her birthday with a weekend away to our favorite place. First time staying here and we’d definitely stay here again. Beautiful home, nicely decorated, convenient to town…and woke up to snow. What a weekend full of memories. Thank you Debbie for communication! Loved, loved, loved it!!
