Craftsman styled home in the heart of downtown Highland

The property has been updated with all of the modern amenities to make it feel like your home away from home! Whether you’re here for a short visit or an extended stay, you’ll have everything you need in this fully furnished vacation rental. There are three separate levels of living space and efficiency kitchens on each level, so guests can have privacy on their own floor or everyone can gather together on the main floor. Location is key with this property located only 1/2 block away from the City Square and within walking distance to several restaurants, bars, shopping and the historic Lory Theater. There’s also ample parking spaces at the rear of the property and plenty of street street side parking.

My lg. family was visiting for a wedding and this place had the perfect accommodations! Each floor was like a labyrinth of rooms and was quite fun to explore! The home is Very comfortably supplied, the beds and bathrooms were great, the kitchen was stocked with conveniences, and everything was very nicely, decorated and clean.The host was very communicative and let us check in early, which was very helpful in getting ready for the wedding.We really enjoyed the place and the quiet neighborhood was so nice! there are little shops and restaurants close by…. We had 2 fantastic meals The Urban Farmhouse!.

The host was very helpful with trying to accommodate an additional night, but in the end our flight limited our stay to the original dates. All 3 floors of the house were clean, orderly, and cleverly renovated to maximize space for groups. But floors could also be compartmentalized with separate entrance doors for lower, main, and upper levels for more privacy, if needed. The photos captured the inside well, and having a kitchen area on each floor was fabulous. The only suggestion I have is to post how the bedrooms and baths are laid out by floor in the write-up or in the photo caption (i.e., bedroom top floor). It helps in planning for those who aren't as agile anymore! My sister and I chose the main floor (2 beds, one full bath, kitchen, dining room, living room, and front porch access) to avoid stairs. The upper floor had 2 bedrooms and a futon-sofa in an open area, plus a full bath and kitchenette. The lower floor had a kitchen, living room, dining off the kitchen, laundry room, full bath, and 3 beds. Two of those bedrooms were only separated from the main bedroom by curtains, not doors. This is a good option for family members or close friends who will stay up talking or need less privacy. Each floor of the house was well set up for coffee, cooking, refrigerator, etc. Definitely a family-friendly home. It was a perfect location for the Schwarz Barn wedding venue, as well as checking out Highland.

This house is in a great location with lots of space for a large group of people. We rented this for my son’s wedding weekend hosting several family members staying with us. Everyone loved their space and the overall home. Lots of parking. Very close to the Old Wick Factory, same owners. Very nice and accommodating.

Couldn't ask for a better place to stay in town for our son's wedding nearby at Schwartz Barn. Had plenty of space, bedrooms and common areas to come together to share a meal or just catch up and visit with family while also finding quiet spots to catch up on rest as needed. Can't express our gratitude enough!

Spacious, relaxing comfort

Thank you soo much! We were treated to a rare vacation. Comfortable and very spacious. This welcoming site allowed my family, (3), my son and grandchildren (3), and my sister and her family (3) to stay together, relax and enjoy catching up while still having the ability to have our own space. If we return to the area, we know where we will like to stay.

Wedding stay

I rental this home for weekend of my daughter's wedding. The first night the bridesmaids and other women involved in the ceremony stayed and the second night our large family was there. The house was abaolutely perfect for both! All three floors have bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen type area to have your coffee & breakfast in the morning or snacks at night without disturbing those trying to sleep. There is also a full parking lot if your group arrives in several vehicles. I highly recommend this home for large groups! The owners are fabulous to work with and even allowed us to check in early so we could get ready for the rehearsal and dinner.

Great Home, Great Location

Six adults and one grandchild in town for a wedding. Loved having everybody under one roof! House was spotless on our arrival; Jennifer let us know we could check in early if we wanted to. House was well stocked and beds nice and comfy. Very convenient location, just a few minutes drive to church and reception. Also within walking distance of town square and multiple restaurants.Would definitely stay there again.
