Ideally located for hiking, kayaking, swimming, fishing, skiing and weekend getaways.

You will have a cozy living room with 2 sleeper sofas, 50` HD Smart TV, a large bedroom with West Point Views, and a fully equipped kitchen with coffee station, featuring Starbucks, Dunkin and Folgers coffee. No shared walls with any other apartment!
Great location for anyone who is associated with West point. Less than a mile to the Front gate and 1 block from Main Street. Enjoy all the Hudson Valley has to offer from this convenient location.

We do recommend having a car to maximize your experience in the area- guests from NYC can take the Hudson line Metro North train from Harlem/125th or Grand Central Station to Garrison Station just across the river.
From there you can take a taxi/uber ride across the beautiful Bear Mountain Bridge to our home. Once here guests can walk the half mile to downtown Highland Falls to enjoy the various restaurants, parks, and West Point Tours.
It’s likely you won’t see me during your stay, which allows you more privacy and convenience. However, I am here anytime you need to reach out. If you need anything or have questions, just send me a message via Airbnb and I’ll be quick to respond. ✅ This property has special local compliance requirements which include a signed rental agreement, ID verification, and security deposit. We know security deposits are annoying, so to make it easier on you we have 2 options that you can choose between:
Option 1: Damage Waiver ($59) - Have a worry-free stay with coverage for up to $1500 for accidental damage (spills, breaks, mishaps) with no surprise charges. Just relax and enjoy your stay. Coverage up to 10 nights, +$2/day for longer stays, and provided by a third-party insurance company.
Option 2: Security Deposit ($1,500) - Refundable temporary hold that releases after your stay.
To make this process easy for you, we use a secure and very simple, app-free platform called Happy Guest. It is not an app, and you do not have to sign up for an account - it`s a safe and secure website. It also gives you a guest portal with all the info about the home and all of my favorite local spots.

Rental Agreement:
1. LIMITED OCCUPANCY: Occupancy is limited to the maximum number of guests stated in the listing. Only registered guests included in the reservation are permitted to stay at the property. If the Owner concludes that this policy has been breached, the Owner reserves the right to expel the entire party with no refund. 2. NON-DISTURBANCE CLAUSE: Renter and their guests shall not disturb, annoy, endanger (fireworks), or create inconvenience for neighbors nor use the premises for any unlawful purposes. 3. CARE OF PREMISES/DAMAGES: NO PETS ALLOWED. NO SMOKING PERMITTED IN HOUSE. Automatic eviction plus forfeit of deposit and rent if violated. Renter agrees to pay the Owner for any damages to furnishings, household items, or pool that occur as a result of Renter’s occupancy. This will include payment of any additional cleaning charges over $100.00 incurred due to Renter’s occupancy. 4. OWNERS RIGHTS: Renter agrees that if the conditions and limitations set forth herein are not met, Owner shall have the right to cancel this agreement and may enter the Property, either by statutory proceedings or by force, to inspect the Property and ensure that Renter has vacated the Property. All monies paid by Renter shall be forfeited as liquidated damages. 5. INDEMNITY CLAUSE: Renter hereby agrees to Indemnify and hold the Owner harmless from any and all claims, including those of third parties, arising out of or in any way related to Renter’s use of Property or the items of personal property provided therein. Renter assumes all risk of injury or other losses relating to any recreational activities, including the use of the private swimming pool on the Property, and will hold Owner harmless with respect thereto. 6. NO SUBLETTING: Renter may not sublet or assign this lease for all or any part of the premises without the prior written consent of the Owner. 7. REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE: The Property is rented with the Owner’s furniture and household furnishings. The owner shall not be responsible for providing additional furnishings or equipment not presently available in the Property. Renter will report any maintenance issues immediately to the Owner. The owner will make every effort to repair and/or replace any equipment that is not working properly but cannot guarantee that all equipment is in good operating order at all times and no rate adjustments or refund will be made for equipment or appliance failures. 8. CANCELLATIONS: The cancellation terms applicable to this reservation shall be governed by the policies of the platform through which the reservation was booked. 9. PARKING: Parking rules, designated areas, and instructions will be provided in your check-in details prior to arrival.
Renter and Owner, by signing this Rental Agreement, acknowledge that they will comply with the terms of this agreement, and each assumes the responsibility for the obligations set forth herein. Renter acknowledges receipt of the House Rules. Renter acknowledges that they have read, accept, and agree to the terms set forth.
CHECK OUT PROCEDURES: 1. CHECK-OUT NO LATER THAN 10am, unless otherwise discussed and approved. 2. All furniture should be returned to its original location. 3. Empty all overflowing trash in the garbage pails designated for this property (instructions will be provided) 4. Remove and dispose of all food items from the refrigerator and pantry/cabinets. 5. Place dishes, utensils, etc. in the dishwasher (if applicable) and turn it on when you depart. 6. Place all used towels in a pile on the bathroom floor and leave any used beds unmade. We’ll take care of the rest! 7. Put key(s) back in the lock box if you had to use them.

We spent 4 nights at this property. It was very quiet & clean. The host was very accommodating & helpful. If we had a question he was quick with a response. Would definitely recommend & hope to stay again when visiting our daughter & her family.

Great stay
We attended the Army football game and the property is a two minute drive to campus. The apartment accommodated four of us comfortably, the instructions were clear and we enjoyed ourselves while there. I would highly recommend to other travelers.

Quiet, great location. For the most part suited our needs for the trip. It appears it was not set up for our arrival. Coffee bar was not set up, no wine or water were present upon arrival. Could have had a couple for kitchen amenities (wipes / cleaner for counter tops, tin foil / plastic wrap for left overs, vacuum).It was not advertised, but a toaster and microwave would have been a plus

A person can always leave complements when things go perfect it’s when things don’t that you find out what kind of Host you have. I stayed over the New Years Holiday and through no fault of Joseph’s there was a power outage in the area. When it came back on it blew a fuse outside the apartment. Being New Year’s there were no stores in the area that carried the fuse that his Electrician needed. The first night he put me up in a motel and when they couldn’t get it repaired on day two he moved me to an upgraded apartment. Though it was an inconvenience it was unbelievable the hoops Joseph jumped through to make things right. I would highly recommend the property based on the Host alone.

Just Right
I was looking for a location convenient to local amenities and the USMA at West Point and that's what I found. Joe is a great communicator, making check-in/out straightforward and easy. Regarding amenities... The coffee bar catered to my caffeine addiction and was lovely. I brought my own work table and chair because I could see from pics there wasn't a desk area. I bought some microwaveable meals only to realize there's no microwave (seems like an easy fix...)

This was the perfect apartment for my work week at West Point. Safe, close to the military base, clean. Joe is a great host. Super friendly and accommodating! I travel here quite often and will be staying here again!
