    The Space:

    An idyllic waterfront escapade awaits at this family-friendly cottage! Dock Holiday is a beautiful lakefront cottage equipped with all the comforts of a home and out-of-the-ordinary amenities, including a dock and lakefront firepit, a private hot tub for a dip or two in the evening, and a patio area for cookouts and more of life's moments.



    Upon entering this air-conditioned cottage, you will discover wood accents and rustic decor throughout, which will genuinely make you feel at home and away from city life. The inviting living room is the definition of comfort, with comfortable furnishings surrounding a wood-burning fireplace and a large TV. Stream the season finale of your favorite series while snuggling up by the fire. The chef of the group will fall in love with this kitchen. Equipped with stainless steel appliances, including a full-size fridge, stove, oven, microwave, and dishwasher, you will have everything needed to prepare the most unbelievably delicious meals. A coffee station off of the kitchen will delight the coffee enthusiasts of the group. It's appointed with plenty of cups, several coffee makers, and an electric milk frother. High-speed internet and a washer/dryer round out your home's essentials.



    Your home is located near attractions like the Towns County Park and the Chatuge Dam Trail for scenic sights and adventure, as well as Hamilton Gardens at Lake Chatuge. Anderson Music Hall is also within 10 miles. Enjoy golfing about 13 miles away at Butternut Creek Golf Course or drinks at Grandaddy Mimm's Distilling Co. Roughly 20 miles away, Brasstown Bald Visitors Center provides unique sights and experiences.

The vacation was good overall. I had an issue with the dock not being in the water: we like to fish on vacation so we were really counting on spending time on the dock; perhaps I expected too much. The house was clean and the views were very nice. There was a minor glitch in checking in: the message I received mentioned a guest check in guide that apparently was a systematic error and after speaking to someone about it, the check in was completed.

If you plan to bring a boat with you for your stay don’t. There is no water at the dock and the neighbors are jerks. The house itself is beautiful and the location and view. The yard was not mowed or the weeds kept down. The host changed the description on the listing after we complained about the dock. I would not recommend staying there.

Review of Doc Holiday Home

This is a very cozy home, beautifully decorated and a great view of the Lake. Bed was very comfortable, living area and couch were cozy and relaxing, kitchen is beautiful. Great place to relax and stay.

Great rental house

Owner did a great job with remodeling of this house and the kitchen was stocked better than my own house. Cute furnishings and enjoyed the 3 nights very much.

We were in town for a baseball event for our song at Young Harris. Close to campus, which was a huge benefit to us, the house was really cute and very clean and the area very quiet. Water is very low right now so we didn’t spend any time on the dock.

Beautiful Wayerfront Lake House

Simply amazing lakefront property with all the amenities you crave. Pictures of the house are on point. Very well appointed kitchen and the most comfortable king sized bed I've ever slept in.

Relaxing Waterfront Retreat

House was as described. nice open floor plan with plenty of room to space out. The house was nicely equipped and updated. we enjoyed the outdoors space all weekend.
