"The kitchen was not what we were expecting and it was tough with the only sink being the kitchen sink for the cabin and keeping hair and grooming items away from food."

"I really enjoyed our stay here. The lobby was really cute and welcoming. The staff were really inviting and friendly, rooms and building were clean. I think the only thing is that I wish the rooms had a mini fridge in them for the price point as it is pretty comparable with the other bigger hotels in the area. I really have no complaints otherwise, I was really happy with our stay."

"Such a pleasant surprise! The accommodation was much bigger than expected for the price. The beds were SO comfortable. There were numerous amenities which were so appreciated after a very long drive. There was no on-sight staff but the room was ready and waiting. Would highly recommend hotel and will definitely stay again."

"It's a beautiful cabin, either new or just updated. It only had 1 bed and an uncomfortable pullout couch, which i didn't find 100% clear in the listing. The bathroom sink wouldn't drain. The best part was the location, being right by the lake. We sat by the water and watched at least 25 planes take off and land! They provide ear plugs and sleep masks which are required because the door doesn't have a curtain to block the light."

"Marie was an excellent host and wealth of knowledge as to what to see,do,and eat while in Homer. And her breakfasts were spectacular!! Loved the homemade fresh jams, jellies, and syrups. The room and restroom was spacious and clean. Probably the best view from the deck balcony that we have seen in a number of years. We highly recommend the Majestic B&B for the perfect stay while in Homer, Alaska."

I may have misunderstood when booking,but they made it seem like it was a part of the cabin.( the entire reason I spent $400 for one night) it was hard lugging my luggage to the cabin do to the railroad tie stairs being so far apart. "Let me start with check-in. I obviously went in the wrong door. The one I thought would be the office as it was on the front (street-facing) side. After wandering around for a bit (no signs, of course), I found the desk. I stood quietly at the desk for a bit when the man behind the desk "greeted" me with, "What do you want?"
