"Great breakfast; the lobby restaurant serves great seafood, albeit on the pricier side. The well-sized room was in good condition, with some clearly refreshed areas (bed, shower) though some other areas, like the balcony and general condition of room and hotel are definitely tired and in need of some refresh and maintenance. "The house needs a total renovation. The kitchen is totally dilapidated with a dishwasher where the racks were rusted and breaking apart. Old dishwashing sponges were left in the sink, a biological hazard. There were ants everywhere dead as well as living crawling on counter tops and floors. The owner said that he can’t get rid of them!!! The balcony and garden sliding doors are so heavy to move, that we needed a strong man to open and close them. The location is amazing only a few minutes walk...

"This is my fourth stay in the complex, though the first in this unit. The location is excellent - adjacent to excellent restaurants, a supermarket and a Ritz Carlton hotel. One of the day doormen remembers me from previous stays and always offers a friendly welcome and a quick chat. The VRBO property manager was very responsive to my inquiries and I would not hesitate staying here again next September."
