  • Enjoy a 3 bed 2.5 bath mountain home with spectacular views of the rock bald and reedy patch creek below. House features two large decks and a patio. Three private bedrooms, two upstairs and one downstairs. A large basement includes a pool table, second living room and a set of bunkbeds. The dining room feels suspended in the trees and provides great birdwatching opportunities. Open layout of the kitchen and living room area allows everyone to gather around for meals, catch a sunrise, or watch the fog roll over the river. Five minute drive to Chimney Rock State Park and Lake lure area. Large fire pit area at bottom of the property sits beside the creek and provides a great place to gather and cook smores. 20 minute drive to Downtown Hendersonville. 30 min drive to Asheville. House has 5 TVs with multiple channels. High speed Wifi. Washer and dryer. Air conditioning and heat.

Cute place in the woods, neighbors close but did not see them. Nice to sit on the porch and hear the creek below. We went to chimney state park and it was an easy and close drive.

Lots of room indoors and out for our family of 5 to spread out and enjoy. Kids loved the finished basement and catching fireflies by the fire pit. Adults enjoyed early morning coffee on the deck taking in the beautiful views.

Beautiful views, pet friendly, had everything in this cabin and more.Very clean and lots of space. Very close to everything.Lake Lure and Chimney Rock are open.Roads are open some maybe down to one lane but very easy process

Bat Cave

Absolutely wonderful, the area, the house, very close to so many things to do. We will.definately be returning to the area and plan on staying here again, only for a longer stay for our next visit.

The cabin was very beautiful and accommodating. There was a really nice and functional kitchen with a variety of activities including bunches of games. The hot water was very surprising and lasting, possibly the best I’ve ever experienced in the mountains. The view was incredible and you can hear the creek from the cabin which was incredible at night. We were even able to watch the squirrels adventure close to the deck. I would certainly recommend an awd/ 4wd vehicle because of a steep and somewhat sharp turn towards the cabin. The one thing I would have enjoyed is if the rest of the windows had curtains/blinds for an added privacy but overall it was tucked just enough away for a personal oasis. We would certainly love to come again!!

Enjoyed everything the house had to offer. Plenty of space and was close enough to the village and Chimney Rock to get out of the house for a little while.

We had a great stay in Bat Cave. It was the perfect location for us to travel between Chimney Rock and Gerton daily. The rooms were as described and just what we needed for 4 people to stay comfortably. We unfortunately didn't get to use alot of the amenities because the weather was bad or we were just too tired from our mission trip, but the place had a working kitchen, patios, fire pit and pool table that would have been amazing to use. The house is very big, complete with the laundry room, which we did use. Was a little hard to find. Had to have a local help us because GPS couldn't get us all the way there. Kenny is very responsive and easy to work with. A for the trip.

The property was great for a last minute weekend getaway. Location was central to other areas around. Great views. Cabin was well stocked and property owner was very responsive.

Good place to stay. The house was big and clean spacious we loved staying in it. I would’ve like a little more exterior space to play with my granddaughter. Other than that great place to stay.

We stayed because the rental was close to our family. We could get together to enjoy each other, then retreat to our own space.

Beautiful Views

The cabin was just what we needed. It was quaint with plenty of room. We enjoyed the views. There was a burn ban in effect, so we missed the opportunity to enjoy a fire; but the fire pit area was very nice. We’d definitely stay again.

We were a little bummed we didn't get to go tubing because of the weather. It was really accommodating for the teens and the dogs. Would definitely stay again.
